I received it yesterday. The arms and leg and base appear to be OK. No directions for the base but it's not too difficult to figure out. The body has numerous cracks which appear to be superficial. The overall craftsmanship is terrible. I could return it but I might receive something worse. I decided to sand the body down and fill cracks as needed. I'm confident I can get it the way I want it. The body is some kind of hardwood. The base is adjustable 4 inches or so. I might use this as a template and make my own in the future if I get a lathe. I definitely wouldn't buy another one of these.

In the first week I thought it was a good buy! However, I’m not sure if it’s the dummy or my strength but after a while it starts to rock easy when struck. My dummy arrived with a crack down the left side but because it’s so heavy I didn’t want to fuss with repacking it and shipping it. There were no instructions included but I assembled it with no problems. The base is too weak to support the weight. I’ve tried to retighten the screws but it’s very wobbly and near unsafe. I need to send it back but the weight alone might break the bank for shipping costs!

No instructions came with the unit, but it was pretty easy to assemble. It WAS a great gift for my husband; however, he informed me yesterday that the base is starting to crack. Upon inspecting it, it is starting to crack in multiple spots to where I am concerned that if it breaks, the unit will fall. I plan to make contact about a replacement piece, but for what I paid for this gift, it should not be falling apart! Unacceptable especially when it is only being uses a couple times a week!

I've been in martial arts 35 years, this free standing dummy is by far the most stable free stander I have ever used, it is beautifully finished, very sturdy, and came packaged very well without a scratch. I was a tad concerned when it was off balance while putting it together, but the leg made it very stable, This is idea for anyone that wants a piece of art they can beat the crap out of. I have been working out with it for hours and the action in the arms is flawless. This is one of the nicest wooden dummies I have used. No assembly instructions, but it didn't matter it went together very quick and easy based on the amazon pics (although simple single page instructions would have been nice, i did end up with a few extra hardware pieces, not sure what they were for).

Great quality body for the wooden dummy except. The worst is that it slides too much with the sucker bottom. I’m thinking of bolting it start through the metal plank it’s resting on. Also, it should have more weight at the base. The hard wood trunk body is bolted into a hollow metal base. On the plus side, it is very nice looking wooden dummy and can take beginner level students and the wooden arm and leg pegs are of good quality.

I really enjoy this product, it might not be the best out there but it suites my needs as a beginner and the shipping was right on time, I didn't have to wait weeks for it to get here. It's strong, sturdy and as described. I replaced the notches that keep the arms from coming out with bolts but other than that it's what I wanted.

A little too loose... Foot piece broke on first day:-( Other than that it looks great. I can hit it as hard as I want and it doesn't break:-)

Ordered one on Sept. 27, 2016 and it's already delaminating. Severe splits and cracks through out the body, one arm, and the leg. Save your money.
