The quality is very good and the appearance and color was just what I wanted. I have them throughout the house except the kitchen. My 17 year old installed all of them and the are not thin.

We have a house built a century ago, and the switches were never updated. This looks perfect for our beautiful older home, without looking out of place.We found a switch that was the right color to match, and it looks perfect for our home.

My Wife loves Oiled Rubbed Bronze wall plate upgrades I did in our MB Bathroom. I'm a retired Electrician so the install was quite easy for me. However, just unhook and hook one wire at a time and you too could do it yourself. MAKE SURE ELECTRICITY IS OFF AT THE JUNCTION BOX and you should be ok.

Solid and heavy, but the paint is easily damaged (found out it can actually rub off if done hard enough). This makes me wonder how long it would last over the years if it's easy to scrape off. I would use your fingernail to get the screw started, then carefully tighten them it with a screwdriver.I recommend these if you need them in bulk and are trying to upgrade the switch plates on the whole floor of a house, but if you're only just doing one room or so, I'd look for higher quality.

Upgrade from the white plastic ones. These are sturdier and more attractive.

Wall plate color is as advertised and fit snugly over electric outlet. Screws to hold plate are extremely short and easily fall off screw driver if you are not using a magnetic screw driver. Slightly longer screws would work better but wall plate was snug with short screws provided in package.
