Ok, I bought it, knowing the price so there were no surprises. It was one of the few rearview mirror holders that are made for my particualar radar detector model. But the PRICE???? Let's talk design. Most people will need to alter their mirror somewhat, moving wires, eliminating clips, etc. I had to remove the wiring harness clip to make it fit - no big deal, but a little annorying. Tyring to remove the radar detector from the mount is quite the chore. It requires two hands, which is not easy in the awkward postion required to get up into the mount. It requires a lot of pressure , it feels as though you are about to break your $500 detector unit before getting it to come free. Once free, all the mounting/tension screws are now loose.Bottom line, it works well if you never take your unit out of the car.I think it needs a little more fine tuning, which shouldn't be the case for such an expensive product.

The mount is well made and I use it with a Uniden R7. It is a little pricey but there aren't any mirror mounts that can compete with it. The clip is a little cumbersome to work but I got the hang of it after a couple of tries. I do have to use both hands to release the clip and remove the detector, but that is more due to the detector case design and not the mount and clip's fault. I say it is almost perfect because one of the screws tends to loosen over time and the detector and mount will swing down and not stay horizontal. No matter how hard I tighten the screw the mount will eventually work its way loose again. It would be nice if the screws had knobs so it could be hand tightened instead of having to fish out the Allen wrench every time.

I have this mounted in my civic SI. No rattle at all and it stays in place the entire time. Looks so much better than having the detector on the window. It is a little pricey but this is guaranteed the best mount on the market for radar detectors. Money well spent

It was a great decision getting the blend mount. I got my only cigarette lighter back! The Mirror tap to power the radar is worth it!

Installed on my 2020 ram 1500 bighorn and it fit great once adjusted correctly and I still can use my covercraft sun shaft which was important to me.

Very solid construction. The product support team was very helpful. The mirror “stem” is tapered on my car which normally wouldn’t work with this. I was able to use a piece of rubber to give this a way to grip and stay put. This is much better than suction cups.

Installed nicely. The only thing I had to do was use a little thread locker on some of the screws. Otherwise they would loosen up. Kind of difficult to remove the detector from it, but that's a minor concern and it gets better with practice.

Great mount. Was easy to install but I think it is a bit overpriced at $99
