I like Karo Syrup, been using it for many, many years. It has the taste that we all enjoy, in cooking and in baking.

The expiration date was wiped. (the plastic had been cut to do this) Beware

Just pick this up today. The expiration date on both syrups one is crossed out, scraped out the other one shows totally different date clearly added as an afterthought.different .Do not buy!unfortunately, I am unable to return these items. I will not buy again!Fraudulent

Over the years, I have waited for a lower sugar version of the dark syrup. So to lower the sugar overall, I mix the low sugar light with the dark about half and half -- no effect on performance or taste.
