These plates give the room an overall more polished look. It's a small thing, but now I'm not looking at screw heads on the outside of the plate cover. Easy to install. They are shiny, not matte.

Great product, looks sleek, easier to install than standard covers.Better than my standard covers for several reasons, a big one being that there are holes in the mounting/base part so you can adjust the underlying screw (the one that holds the switch itself in place) which isn’t visible when installing regular covers. You can make it the perfect depth with no gaps more easily than with standard covers, which I love, because getting my old ones to look perfect again was impossible after I installed my new gosund smart switches.Another thing, the EATON cover is shiny and sleek. It’s so shiny that there is a discernible difference between it and the gosund smart switches - they’re a little bit matte in comparison. It fits the switches just fine and the difference is hardly noticeable. The EATON cover is also a slightly grey-white color compared to the switches. Maybe I stared at it for too long, but you know how white is never really just white? The switches are a more yellow-white than the grey-white cover. I’m probably the only one who has noticed that because who scrutinizes light switches for barely discernible color differences?Anyways, it’s a great buy and makes my updated switches look even more modern. I am happy with it.

We bought a home about 2 years ago and I wanted to change "builder's grade" switch & switch plate to screwless plate & sleek look switch.I bought a switch from Lutron and wanted cover as well but they didn't have white in stock.This was only $2.99 and had a lots of great reviews so I wanted to try thinking if I didn't like it,I'd just return.Turned out, it looks good!I'm a girl who never done this but watched youtube, bought voltage tester pen and did it myself.It was SUPER easy.Since this was a first time, I bought just one to see but now I'm going to order more to change every switches/switch plates in my home!

Excellent product

This item arrived on time and packaged well. It was a little difficult to install in that it was not the original cover and the actual switches had to be moved slightly and it was not an exact fit. It did go on, it was just not completely flush to switches and to wall. It is definitely not visible to the naked eye in passing or even with using the switches. It is just that I am aware of it because I installed it and I tend to be very visual and precise. It is definitely better that the plate I had with screws on the outside of the plate because my hands would always get hit by the screw and that was just not comfortable and I found it irritating. I did try to remove the faceplate to adjust the plate that screwed into the wall more flushly to the wall but could not remove the cover plate easily. I feared it would crack, split, or break. Therefore, I decided to leave it with the plate not being completely flush to the wall.

I bought this for the TP-Link smart switches that I bought for my living room and dining room. I can confirm it fits them fine; the trick is that you have to attach the base plate for this cover after you’ve installed the switches into the gang box. It’s not quite as simple as the snap on covers that the switches come with when installed singly, but it works fine, and I don’t have any hesitation recommending it.

The installation, surface texture and fit of this Eaton wall plate is nearly identnical to the other major modern lighting outlet designer that starts with an L(and ends with an N) at 1/3rd of the cost. It was super easy to install with a base plate that helps align the switches. Once the base plate is installed, the top faceplate simply snaps on. The size and spacing of this plate looks great and helps add an extra touch to any room with a modern decor look. Comes with 4 screws
