When my heater malfunctioned it was quick & easy to submit a claim and get my money back.

I have used Asurion several times in the past month to recover funds for products I bought 6 months to 4 years ago on Amazon that stopped working. I would almost say it should be part of everything you buy on Amazon because that air fryer you bought on Prime Day for a deal isn't going to last more than 2 years. All you have to do is file a quick claim answer some questions and in little as 30 minutes you could be refunded an Amazon gift card code for the full amount you spent no further questions asked. I literally had money in my account the same day to spend on something new or to replace what broke for a better model.

I got the extended warranty on a battery jump starter. It wouldn't hold a charge anymore so I filed a claim. The claim process was easy and the Amazon gift card arrived fast. I would recommend for any items you are worried about going bad beyond the 30 day Amazon return period.

It is worth it to get product coverage through Asurion. Our clothes steamer worked great and then it cracked and could no longer be used. We were hoping for it to be replaced with another clothes steamer that worked. However, since the product was no longer available, Asurion sent us an electronic gift card for the value of the steamer and we can use it to buy another kind of steamer. They issued the gift card the same day we made the claim.

They quickly gave a refund as an Amazon credit. I appreciate that, but I would have preferred having the option to choose what to do. Like allow me to return the item that didn't work in exchange for a new one vs getting the refund. Now I still have a non-working item that I need to dispose of...

This is not my first purchase of this insurance. I have used the policy once before and it was easy to use and we actually received a new product.

Was surprised how fast and simple asurion is

Asurion is a good value. BUT when I get coverage, the plan DOES NOT tell me what ITEM is covered. When you get several plans for this that and the other, you do know know what you have insured. Surely, Asurion can place an item which is covered...please!
