I purchased two of these, knowing what the other reviewer found out: that it would be hard to balance them and they'd be a little unsteady, as I have other wire shelves that presented the same problems. So what I did was to put them back-to-back and wrap Velcro (like this: https://www.amazon.com/GCA-4-Inch-Reusable-Management-Yards%EF%BC%8CWhite/dp/B01GRM35WO/ or https://www.amazon.com/PASOW-Reusable-Fastening-Organizer-Holder/dp/B0154MS9VU/ ) around the top, bottom, and uprights at several points, which has the effect of giving them three legs on each end; much steadier. You can always shim the feet if your floor is uneven (tip: keep the hard cardboard "L" shaped pieces in the packaging; very handy for general shimming purposes). I store art supplies and books on them, the heaviest on the bottom.The packaging was different for each one: one was sent in a skinny cardboard box, the other had its skinny box encased in paper and a bigger box. Go figure who decided that. Both arrived safely, though.One star off simply because fold-up wire racks all have the same problem of stability. But I wanted something that was easy to move and required no assembly, I got around the stability issue, so I'm pleased.Edit: when unpacking, make sure you have all the little plastic feet, as they can loosen and be left behind in the box. That turned out to be the reason for the unsteadiness, which I got around by sticking on several adhesive felt floor protectors. Also, when setting up, give each of the feet a twist to make sure they're fastened in tightly.

This could be an amazing purchase IF it were delivered in tact! The first time, aside from the box arriving COMPLETELY open on the length of the package- a bottom foot was missing (screw and all). The inside screw grooves were gone as well, so it’s not like they can just send a replacement screw foot. Submitted a return and got the second shipment. The second one arrived with TWO broken feet. Therefore, it doesn’t balance. At this point, I’m just going to keep the first one and come up with a bootleg solution, ONLY because I like the foldable design. Other than that, it’s not worth the price. Such a hassle having to return this. And such a waste of man power...I’m sure this item gets sent and returned often because they don’t package it well enough. Just a waste...

I bought this to use for linen storage as there is no linen closet in my house. It came assembled and all I had to do is unfold it. One of the little feet broke off when I slid it into place but it still works ok. I tucked it inside my master bedroom closet. It’s a pretty big closet so the bookcase fits fine tucked into one end. It’s perfect for stacking sheets, blankets etc, is very sturdy, and it holds a lot. It solved a storage problem for me which makes me happy.

This folding bookcase is just what I needed to store books and craft projects. I just bought another one. It is so easy to install. Just fold out the sides, Then fold up or down the shelves to lock into the sides. The unit is lightweight too. i can easily move it to another room for another purpose.

I was re- organizing my small kitchen and realized I needed more storage. I ordered these shelves: I LOVE that they fold and there is virtually no assembly because they simply unfold ! Now, my kitchen is organized ! Yay!

Very uneven! Hard to strike a balance point. Terrible packaging!!! Not sure how it survived shipping!

I got two of these and set them up side by side. Incredibly easy! They're in front of my LR window with house plants where they can get enough light. I like that they are not solid, that the don't block my view.

Exactly one feet was missing or had fallen loose inside the box ! Seems they have also cheapened the shelf wire gauge as there is no way it can hold 75lb spread evenly !
