TecTecTec ProWild Hunting Rangefinder - Laser Range Finder for Hunting with Speed, Scan and Normal Measurements

Got this to replace older bulky range finder that still works but had to fix wires and hard to change battery.The Prowild is compact, accurate, and I like the continuous ranging feature. One issue I had was when I installed the battery it worked great and once it timed out and turned off it wouldn't turn back on unless I took battery cap off and on again then it worked till it timed out and so on. I figured out the brass connection on the cap was tarnished enough to not make good contact to positive end of the battery. I carefully scraped the brass contact on the cap and now it works flawlessly.

Mine worked for a few months, then the LCD display started failing, with only half the digits showing. I thought it was battery related, so I put a new battery in but the issue persisted.I emailed TecTecTec support, and they asked me to put the rangefinder in the sun for a day. I tried that, but it didn’t work. I emailed support what to do next, but they stopped responding.

Great rangefinder for the price.However, I ran into some issues with the unit, which the customer service at the company promptly took care of.Described issue, which included mode not cycling and company did not hesitate to offer new replacement unit in exchange for the old one. Very impressed. They wanted the old one so that they can investigate the cause and resolve the issue. This tells me the company not only stands behind their product, but endeavors to make it better.

This is a great rangefinder if you love hunting, and would really like a premium rangefinder the ProWild is perfect. I find the TecTecTec’s PROWILD Laser Rangefinder to be the very best so far. It provides a super accurate laser range measurement as much as 540 yds. It is lightweight, compact and ergonomic with water and mud resistant body. Comes with everything to get started, really easy to use. A fantastic buy.

This range finder is as advertised. I watched the little video prior to purchasing it so when it came it took me about 5 minutes to load the 3v included battery and get it going. I tested it with another laser rangefinder I had up to 15 yards and it was right on the money. As a retired land surveyor I understand the principle of no-visible laser distance measuring devices and for the money this little guy does the job.

This is the best range finder for the money. I opened it up and I was measuring distance in five minutes. it is clear and easy to operate with gloves on. I use it more than the big name brands that I have that cost twice as much.My Grandson play with sometimes when he shoots his bb gun and it has been dropped a couple of times and it still works great.You can't beat this for the money.The longest distance I have used this is 400 yds. and it is right on the money.

This rangefinder works exactly as advertised. I use for shooting, to determine range to target,and it appears to be right on. The display is easy to read and use, and Tec Tec tec sent me two separate e-mails before the unit even arrived to let me know it was shipped and how to use some common functions as well as FAQ. Awesome customer service I have to say.My son uses this for air-soft when he plays sniper to determine when his opponents are in range and what mill dot to use. Of course his ranges for Airsoft only go to about 120 yards max, and this is perfect for him because of the great changes in aim point at closer distances seen in air-soft.Only con, if you can call it that, is no illumination for readout. The advantage of that would be early morning or late evening hunting. But for regular use, no problem. Not sure if more expensive units offer that feature. One reviewer suggested using a cell phone to illume the reading, but have not tried that yet.Overall, unit and service exceeds expectations. Would highly recomend

It works great except for the fact that it fogged up on my third day out on the inside. It dried to the inside of the spotting portion. It’s not properly sealed. There’s no way for me to clean it so it’s almost useless as I can’t see through it. Could be just mine but I’m not happy about it.

très bon produit, facile d'utilisation ,fonction en mètre et verge (pas de mesure en pieds). la vision est très belle et net. prix pas cher comparativement aux autres . reste a savoir quelle sera sa longévité.

This rangefinder was great, the first time I used it. The second time I went to use it it wouldn’t even turn on and still won’t turn on. Very disappointed.

This is what you need. I’m telling you right now, I shopped around and for the price this is descent. Works good, not in a snow storm, not in rain, I tested it and normal clear days it’s quite accurate.

l’appareil correspond à ce qui a été décrit sauf qu'il était prévu une pile CR2 pour le faire fonctionner, et qu’elle n’y était pas…. Génant pour un appareil de ce type.Ils devraient ou la mettre ou enlever cette indication.
