Gabriella's Song (Aladdin Picture Books)

I bought this book because my daughter has the same name, not knowing about the book's storyline. It ended up being one of my favorite picture books. I think it would make a great gift for a school music teacher or school library. When I read it to my kids I make an Italian accent and they love to hear a few Italian words, makes reading it aloud fun.

Wonderful book! Bought it for my daughter whom we named Gabriella. It is such a sweet story of finding music all around you! Great for music teachers and music lovers alike.

This is one of my favorite children's books yet. Our 3 year old boy loves it, and I expect as he gets older he will grow to appreciate it even more. It's a great story that is enjoyable for the parent as well as the child. Bravissimo!

Beautiful story of how a little girl's tune drawn from her every day wanderings in Venice has the city humming and inspires a composer to arrange a orchestral masterpiece around it. Clever and touching story, very well written and illustrated.

My granddaughter, who loves Venice and music, loves this book. The text is lyrical and the artwork is exquisite. It may not be exciting for every child, but for a child who appreciates art, this is a wonderful choice.

My kids both love the illustrations and sounds associated with this book, but the library hardcover version was a little easier to enjoy than the big flimsy pages of this paperback. Still, I don't regret it for the price!

Lovely story. Bought for my daughter when we took her to Venice. Really brings the city to life for little ones.
