Paper is a little thin, but still nice.

We have been using these for several years, and there is a problem related to even the slightest poor weather. Part of it is due to the pretty perforations of the paper bag which adds inherent weakness to maintaining its fully open shape. This Christmas, we had a light mist and light winds. The two combined to collapse the bags within the first hour of display. Although the bags are said to be waxed, which would help prevent collapse, they must be very lightly waxed, and making them more rigid would exponentially help (in my opinion). Once that would have been a bad idea when actual candles were used-setting fire to them more easily, but with the LED lights, that is a non issue. By the way, the newer LED lights are brighter than last year's model which helps make the bags more visible (providing they stand up to the weather).

I used these last Christmas and they were perfect…that’s why I purchased them again this year.

This product was nice I line the stairs with one each. It lite the stairs nicely. The one thing I would suggest is putting something in them to way them down if it is windy

Maybe the bags would be adequate in warm, balmy weather, but we put them out on Christmas Eve in PA. They aren't sturdy enough and absorbed the moisture from the concrete right away. I suggest a lightweight plastic be used instead of the coated paper bags that came with the package. The bags are beautiful and come with LED tea light type candles (batteries included - a big selling feature). We used two candles per bag for maximum light. Maybe we missed it in the package directions, but the directions should also state that strong material to stabilize the bags are needed because they are so lightweight. We did use stabilizing materials to help maintain the placement of the bags. All in all, beautiful item visually.

An added effect is that the tea lights flicker which add to the effect. They are definitely bright enough and look beautiful. I plan on using them from multiple uses The fair quality could be just a little bit sturdier but I'll still get a couple of uses out of them. These would not be good in the rain. They did exactly what I wanted.

I bought this set to put out on Christmas Eve in front of our house. The bags are beautiful! The lights worked great and were really bright. I bought some rocks at the Dollar Tree to put in the bottom of the bags so the wind didn't blow them over. We had them on for 5 hours straight and they kept looking great. I will not get another use out of the bags because it was a foggy sort of wet night so they were a bit flimsy by the time I brought them in. The lights will last me a long time though. I would definitely purchase again.

Very nice! They look beautiful. However, if there is a drizzle of rain or dampness, they will droop and the bags will lean over..For the cost, they were still a good buy and added a nice touch.
