Vol. 1-Rebirth of Cool

I won't lie, I'm not a fan of cheesy jazz, which in my books makes this CD truly awful. If you like Jazz FM or supermarket music, you will love this. It's full of boy-band influenced vocals, extremely mediocre harmony and there is no interest in stepping up or developing any kind of melodic context. I made the mistake of buying this because I thought I was buying the "Jazz Warriors" who were a freely-expressive group featuring Courtney Pine. How wrong I was.Only buy this CD if (a) You're a fan of music so cheesy that it puts Vintage Cheddar to shame; or (b) you find yourself singing along with the aisle music in Safeway.
