2pcs Quick Release 1/2-Inch Drive to 1/4-Inch Hex Female Socket Adapter Converter Chuck Adaptor for Impact and Ratchet Wrenches

Bought this product to covert a manual impact drive to 1/4 inch driver bits. The problem I had was I needed a driver bit to fit into the screws used on Asian car brake rotors. All of them use a Japanese Standard screws that looks very similar to a Phillips head screws. They are not. Using the stand number three Phillips bits that come standard with manual impact drivers will strip the slots if they are rusted in. The only JIS bits I found were all 1/4 inch drive bits requiring a 1/2 to 1/4 drive adapter. I chose this one and I'm glad I did. I was surprised at the quality construction of these adapter. These were much better than the typical cheap stuff coming from China. I looked at the country of origin and I got my answer. These adapters are made in JAPAN and the quality confirms that. Buy them and be secure that the money you spend will be worth it. Oh, the driver, reducer and JIS bits worked wonderfully to remove all the screws on my rotors with ease without damaging the screw slots.

Used with my Impact Wrench to install wall mount shelves in garage. Worked like a charm. Package doesn't match but got what I ordered.

The tool part looks to be solid however the rod is too thin and the band is too stretched so there’s no way it’ll keep it onto 1/2” socket or impact. Better off just using a small thin cable tie to hold in place.
