Real AloeLotion, Aloe Vera, 16 Fluid Ounce

This is the best non-toxic lotion I have ever used. It soaks in well and there is no annoying fragrance. I put in the ingredients at the site SKIN DEEP EWG, and this product gets an exceptional rating of 1 (the lower the better, non-toxic-wise). I can also add rose oil or other natural oils easily to this. For the ingredients, the price cannot be beat.

Absorbed quickly and ended up an amazing facial moisturiser.

Good lotion -doesn’t irritate -not greasy- you may need to reapply during the day if you live in a dry climate

Good product, good service

This is a 16 ounce bottle of Aloe Vera Lotion, grown and bottled in the USA by Real Aloe, based in California. They say they have been in business since 1972 and do have a website , realaloe.comIt is a thick lotion, not greasy , but only a small amount is needed, so a bottle of this size will last for a long while.The list of ingredients on the bottle's label is longer than the one posted in the online description.I like that Aloe Vera Gel is the first ingredient listed, followed by many different Extracts.I have posted a photo. Basically, it's the same list as shown online, with a few more ingredients, including scent.I did not think the scent was overpowering, it was okay, nothing special, and it dissipates after a few minutes. The lotion is moisturizing and feels good on the skin.I tried to compare this lotion in price with others Aloe Vera Lotions, but found that impossible to do.I like to compare apples to apples, and each one I looked had varying ingredients and sizes.I think if you like this product and it works on your skin, it is worth the price.

I have been buying this lotion for years, nice, unscented and it has helped my very dry skin but my latest purchase STINKS. Literally.Why would they put a scent (and not a very pleasant one at that) in a previously unscented product without a notice on the FRONT label something like "New Fresh Scent".Very disappointed and I also took the time to write an actual letter to the company stating this.If enough people complain about the scent, maybe they will revert to their old formula.

The world is full of excellent moisturizers like unscented value-priced CaraVe. This is not one of them.The off-putting smell is not strong but is still there for quite a while and an affront to my male nostrils. Otherwise, this would be an acceptable, albeit expensive, product.For the $23 price, it's unacceptable as is. I'll stick it in the closet. Maybe somebody will use it when they have a cold and can't smell.My rating system:5 Stars = Knocks it out of the park. A great value!4 Stars = Excellent product. A solid buy.3 Stars = It provides some value, but perhaps not as advertised.2 Stars = A little dubious, so do your research. Read the critical reviews!1 Star = Avoid this product and look elsewhere.

The ingredient label pictured online does not list "aloe vera fragrance" as the last item as my bottle does. Lotion is good but not great. And the scent is way too much sweet and not enough aloe? Won't purchase again. Sorry.
