The extractor set looks and operates Great!!!! But,.....it would not get this nut off my truck!!!! Heck, Im not sure what will....Its probably going to the Shop...LOL But the set looks great and for the price ...you cant beat it!!!! Its a keeper!!!!

I used one of the extractors from this set to remove the two very very rusty blade retaining bolts on my Honda lawnmower. The mower is about ten years old and I had never removed the bolts in the time I've owned it. My regular sockets just rounded the corners of the bolt heads and my large adjustable wrench was completely useless. I wasn't sure how I was going to get the blade bolts off to put new blades on. I saw a YouTube video of someone using a product like this and I headed to Amazon to find something similar. This particular product was less expensive than most of the similar items here and also has clearly visible size markings on each extractor. I figured I'd give these a shot before taking more drastic and difficult measures to get those bolts off. I'm amazed at how well these work. I selected the size that fit best over the rusty bolt heads and tapped it over the head of the rusty and rounded bolt. As I turned the ratchet the extractor bit in tightly to the sides of the bolt head and then the bolt started backing out of the rusty hole it had been in since it was assembled. This extractor set should be in every handy persons tool kit. It works incredibly well, it's inexpensive and it will save you a ton of frustration and possible busted knuckles to boot. I'm 100% satisfied with this product and recommend it without reservation.

Worked great to help get out a screw in my truck and worked to get a bolt out in the bed of my truck easy to use just need to be careful with the smallest one because it breaks easy great size range.

Needed a little persuasion to bite into the bolt but got the job done.

This is a tool that I will rarely use, but unfortunately I had to buy it for 2 oil pan bolts and it worked like a charm. Comes in a really nice case I can keep on the shed shelf, covers most common sizes, strong material, grips the damaged nuts and dislodges them, great price, not a cheaply made tool.

I purchased this item since I wasn't 100% sure what would be the best option for extracting difficult bolts on my motorcycle. Fortunately this set gave me options that can be used in a variety of situations. The walls of the socket extractors were too thick to fit into the tight area where the bolt head was reset into so drilling into the center of the bolt was my only option. Fortunately this set provides drill bits that match with each extractor. I actually started with the smallest drill bit which was perfect for making a guide hole for the larger hole for the extractor I was going to use.. Once I got the hole drill I tapped in the extractor and began turning it in a counterclockwise direction. This bolt was VERY stubborn and I reached a point (using a 12" adjustable wrench) where I feared the extractor was going to snap. But the extractor bit held up to the significant force applied that ultimately got the bolt to turn. I'm impressed with the variety, quality and strength of this extractor set and definitely recommend it.

Never had to use anything like this but the set was a life saver , had a car witb a completely stripped oil pan bolt , nothing would grab it or budget it , heated the pan up , tapped one of these sockets on and came right off
