Support AND Comfort!
I've been lifting consistently for over 20 years. That and 14 years active duty infantry service have done a number on my joints. Because of that, I've been using wrist wraps for years. Too often, they will be too thick on the wrist (providing pain, not support) and too thin on the thumb loop (leading to it ripping off while securing the wraps.)I can happily say the Gladiator wrist wraps do neither! The thumb loop is generously thick; though I do not keep my thumb constantly in the loop as some people do (I use it only to secure the wraps themselves,) I have no doubt these will last a long time. The wraps themselves are thin enough not to apply undue pressure, but thick enough to support my admittedly weak wrists. I was benching 315 on incline today with no wrist pain, which is something I haven't had in years!I reccomend these for fitness enthusiasts of all levels...don't be like me: protect your joints and avoid lifelong pain!

Support for heavy lifting
They say wisdom comes with age but they should also say that wear and tear builds up with age as well! At 63, I am still active in the gym and in team sports. Though I do not lift as heavy as I used to when I was in my 30's, I still want to at least keep muscle at the least and build muscle in the best scenarios. Joints tend to weaken and I had noticed some wrist pain both during and after some lifts. These go on easy and you can wrap them as tight or as loose as works for you. Try different levels of tightness to see what is both comfortable and effective for you. These are solidly made and the velcro is tough enough to hold. The thumb straps are comfortable and help keep things in place. At first I noticed them as I was not used to that feeling but after two days, I was fine and did not feel odd with the strap on. They are helping me stay in the gym and better yet, lowering my amount of pain. At my age, the pain never goes away, you just need to manage it. If you want to still be active in the gym when you retire, consider using these now.

Worked great for me!
I have a lot of issues with my wrists during workouts. I am currently doing 80 day obsession and there are a lot of plank holds and pushups, as well as weight training. I ordered these to help take the pressure off of my wrists and they have been great! I haven't experienced near the fatigue or pain I was having without them.Worth the try!

Awesome wrist wraps
I've used these as soon as I got them and they've improved a lot of my lifting by supporting my wrist very well. They're also very comfortable they are very smooth on the skin. They are easily adjustable and to manage. They have a good amount of color choices to go by. The camo blue are what I got and they pop nicely. I've been trying to improve my bench, which I have and 5lbs away from my goal. Having the extra wrist support is very nice and a need as my wrist need some work. Plus I can lift with more confidence knowing my wrist won't buckle out since I have the correct pressure to keep them aligned. I've tried other wrist wraps before when I was looking to buy some and I didn't like what I came across mainly due to the material it was not comfortable and itchy. These are perfect they don't bother my skin as I already mentioned. So if you want some great wraps get yourself a pair of these. Plenty of competitors but hey I gave a nice review and I review with honesty they are for me and I would recommend them for any lifter.

One minor (easy to fix) problem.
Really, really nice set of wrist braces. Feel great, work great. Only reason they get 3 stars for comfort and 4 stars overall is the thumb loop. It is simply folded over on itself so when you put it on, the loop twists which is uncomfortable. If the loop was twisted once before being sewn down it would eliminate this problem (i.e. like an ID lanyard). This would make it so that the loop pays flat all the way around and doesn't create a twist. If the manufacturer wants clarification on this I'm willing to talk to them about it.I'd give the product 5 stars if this problem is fixed!P.S. Added photos so you can see what I'm talking about. If you see the third photo I added you can make it so the twist in the thumb loop is behind where you grip but it would just be more convenient if you didn't have to worry about that.

Almost perfect.
High quality material. My only complaint is that when you take them out of the package they smell like they were pulled out of a homeless guys jock strap and if you’re walking around in the gym before washing them everyone will stare at you like the son in law they never wanted that knocked their daughter up at 16 and crushed her dreams of going to college as well as their dreams of getting her out of the house because although they love her she is a pain in their ass . Aside from that they are perfect once you get the smell out. 5 stars.

Pretty in Pink and back in the game
The wraps are exactly what I need to power through my workouts with my weak wrist. This helps provide the support I need after fracturing my wrist snowboarding several years ago. Plus the pink wrist bands are perfect for me ;)

Best I've ever used
Everything about these wraps is right. They fit great, excellent support and comfortable. I never thought I'd be lifting anymore but I was wrong. I just turned 70 and have been lifting most of my adult life. And I've had enough injuries to prove it. My wrists are pretty weak and I figured I'd never see any heavy weight again. But these wraps worked for me. I'm able to do a decent workout again without the awful pain. Now if they just had a wrap for rotator cuffs.
