I am an amateur shooter, with some moderate skill. I have a compound bow tuned to about #55lbs. And for the last 20 years pretty much everyone has used a trigger release and I have been similarly encouraged to use one. I tried for about the first year, with instruction, using a trigger release. I went to about every forum related to archery to see what the consensus was on using a glove for a compound bow, which I quickly learned was "are you crazy/stupid/etc?".However switching to a glove has personally improved my aim immeasurably. I bet this comment alone will invite a host of other shooters to chime in about what I was doing wrong or whatever, but the bottom line is I am hitting my target regularly with the glove at a variety of distances.About the glove itself. I am sure there are probably higher quality models. So far however this has worked fine. I bought a large and it does run a bit small. Otherwise the construction is of good quality thus far and I am hitting my target so not much bad I can say about it.I have gone through well over a a hundred shots since purchase and there is virtually no wear whatsoever.

I ordered the small (which in the description said it measured 19 centimeters). I measured my hand before purchasing, and my hand is just over 19 centimeters. This fits me well, but it is definitely not any bigger than as described, so if you are unsure of what size to get, go for bigger if your hand measures more than their sized measurements (So if your hand is 20 or more centimeters, a small would likely not work for you). I am able to completely fasten this glove (I have small wrists), and it is comfortable and seems well-made. Definitely helps keep my fingers from hurting when I am shooting my recurve bow. My recommendation is to be sure to measure your hand to avoid having to return or exchange.Time will tell the true quality of this glove, like anything, but overall I am very happy with my purchase.

I have large hands, but not extra-large hands. The fingers are tight, but would possibly stretch to fit better. The bigger problem, is that the item is too short. The securing strap is around the bottom joint of my thumb, rather than around my wrist. That makes it very uncomfortable. See pictures. In one picture, I have place this item over a large work glove. You can see how much lower the work glove wrist strap is. The other picture isn't as obvious, but the wrist strap sits on the lower thumb joint, constraining the thumb, and causing chaffing.

I lost my other archery Max glove and had to reorder. my first glove I had it for a year and it was broken in and felt so awesome. now I got to start the break in all over again. This is the only glove that I will buy. its a handsome glove and matches my tackle. Let me tell you this I have tried from cheap to expensive gloves and I like this one the best and its easy to replace. I shoot a 50lb recurve bow every day and this glove has held up, but remember all gloves eventually wear out. I have big hands so I order the large. a snug fit is what you want and through use and sweating it will stretch some to fit "Baby Bear Right"

Good glove, needs to be worn in like all leather gloves but the good thing is this one is not too stiff to begin with. Loses a star because the Velcro wrist portion doesn't actually go on your wrist but more the lowest part of your hand, making it a bit uncomfortable, even though I did the correct size measurement before purchasing.EDIT: Realized, along with some other reviewers, that this is really designed for the left hand. I'm right-handed, and tried on the left to see if having the elastic on the other side helps the fit, and voila! Perfect fit on the left hand, still not sitting right on the right hand. This really is a great glove, but they need to make two versions of it.

This is THE most comfortable shooting glove I have found! I had no luck with the traditional rough leather and suede shooting gloves. I have tiny hands and even when using a small, those never fit comfortably. The small in this shooting glove fits, humorously, like a glove! The stroing smoothly slides off my finger tips. Does not stick like the flat tips of most finger gloves. The overall comfort level and smooth release of this glove even convinced my husband, a 10 year recurve shooter, to add this on his must-buy list before hunting season starts! Will most definitely be purchasing more in the future!

Bought two pairs. These are great, gave one to my girlfriend. The leather is soft enough to not lose feel / dexterity but thick enough to take the brunt of the string on my 60lb bow and makes my lighter bows a real joy to shoot. Even after hours of shooting, I'm still holding strong. If only I could sooth my shoulder...Note:The small (19 cm) was too small for my hand which is 18.34 cm from the heel of my palm to my middle finger.The medium (20 cm) fits perfect.Definitely measure your hand to get the right size.

My fav finger gaurd....doesnt have the toughest leather on the finger part...so your fingers can get a bit sore after shooting for awhile. But it fits nice.
