K&N High-Flow Original Lifetime Engine Air Filter: Increase Power: Premium, Washable: Compatible with 2016-2019 BMW: 750i, Alpine B7, X7, 33-5086

I installed the filters the other day before embarking on a 1,500 mile road trip. My miles per gallon increased by 3.5 mpg (BMW 750i xdrive 4.4 engine). I could not believe it, but the increased mileage checked out through the trip. The filters were very easy to install and fit properly - unlike the Beck and Arnley filters I initially tried (manufactured in China and assembled in Mexico).

The media could not be loaded.  Very happy with fit. The new k&n filters come pre oiled and ready to install.

Works good on x7 50i

Install is smooth just remove 4 screws on each side. Fits the 2018 G12 (N63B44M3 or N63B44T3) with no problem. Fit does depend on which version of the N63. I can see how people had issues with the older models and possibly with the new version due to relocation of the of the filter.Caution: the one I received had some manufacturing black silicone slivers in the filer media and around the edges also additional oil all around. It wasn’t a big deal but please inspect and remove the silicone slivers and extra oil before installing. You definitely don’t want your engine sucking in silicone slivers and the extra oil can easy take out one or both of your mass air flow sensors. I carefully inspected and removed about 4 silicone slivers on intake side. This is the same black material (silicone) used to adhere the filter media to the edge. I use a blower to blow off additional oil and wiped the edges with a towel. Use care when doing this. It’s cheap insurance for your engine and the mass air flow sensors.

Perfect fit.

Doesn’t fit my 2016 Bmw 750i xdrive. Quarter inch too long. The OEM filter has a rubber seal around the top only with the paper filter sticking down into the air box. K&N filter has rubber incapsulating the interior paper filter throwing the size off a making it a pain to fit. When you get it in, it does not fit like a “glove”. More like a wet sock on the wrong foot. Help appreciated on what would fix this issue.

They don't come standard for my vehicle so I had to adapt them but they work. I noticed better throttle response and increased mileage. I was getting 15.8 miles per gallon and now I'm getting 17.1 according to my instrument cluster. And I've driven the same way since installation

Idk what’s up with the guy who couldn’t fit it. Maybe he just is dumb because it’s like fitting the square in the square slot. Immediately I felt a difference and everything checks out on the scanner.

J'ai acheté ses filtres pour ma BMW 550xi de 2012 équipé donc de filtre différents de ce modèle puisque ceux-ci sont pour les 550 LCI.Je les ai parfaitement adapté sur des vieux support de filtre pour mon modèle, et ils fonctionnent très bien avec un son plus "agressif" du l'augmentation du volume d'air.
