The real deal
Works really well, I like the yellow dye which shows up well when looking for leaks around swimming pool fittings, by seeing the dye being moved or sucked in. Be careful not to lose the syringe long thin application tube (which will float if you do lose it but it’s very thin/small to spot)! Dye disperses harmlessly. Top product

It works OK
This dye seems to work OK and it doesn't dissipate in chlorinated water like other dyes do, but despite my in-ground pool losing an inch of water every week (with a cover on it) I still cannot find the leak anywhere. That's not the dye's fault though, its my incompetence.

Completely pointless.
Instructions: once within quarter of inch of suspected leak, apply dye. - if i know where suspected leak is with quarter inch i dont need the dye…

Worked great, would buy again
Excellent product. We were losing about 3-4" of water a day from our pool but having recently bought the house had no idea where it could be happening at.Professional companies wanted an absurd amount of money to locate the leaks, so we decided to try this first. Ran this around every plaster crack, grout crack, and wall mounted item (lights, ports, etc) and were able to easily identify the leaking spots. There's absolutely no guessing if you've got a leak with this - the dye is very bright and disappears into the hole / crack almost immediately if yourr losing water. Surface cracks in the plaster that weren't leaking the dye cloud would just float around until it was swept away.Only thing we did different due to the depth of our pool was to test it in 1/3s. We checked suspect areas on the top 1/3, drained a bit, checked the next 1/3, etc that way we weren't having to dive under water to check the deep spots in 50 degree weather. The amount provided is plenty for our job - we've got more than half left. A little bit goes a long way.

found multiple leaks around skimmer
It came without instructions, but there are plenty of youtube tutorials on how to use.found a leak around skimmer within minutes. still have 80% of bottlle left.Best value for money than single use syringe for larger pools.keep in mind your tile/plaster color to achive better contrast, i ordered it in yellow for my dark blue pool tiles.

Worked great
I've never used dye in a pool before I was surprised at how easy it is to use. It worked great to find the leak and to test repair afterwards.

Yellow dye is very bright and easy to see. Great for DIY pool leak testing.
This product is very helpful for finding leaks in the pool. I was a bit worried that the yellow would be hard to see, but it was extremely bright and fluorescent. Would buy again if needed.
