SimCam Alloy has no additional AI features. AI Magic. Does not recognize faces unless you add them manually. Nestcam IQ shows you a list of individuals and asks you to assign a name. When an alert is triggered you cannot view it until the recording timeframe is finished (15, 30, 60 seconds) Object recognition is basically area monitoring for a small location. Only one configurable monitoring zone. If you choose to monitor a zone you will only get alerts from that zone. Again. NO DIY AI ON THIS CAMERA. ALSO, the camera makes this hard drive seeking sound and it is so annoying that every change you make the camera speaks out loud.If someone knew what kind of camera this was they could physically disable it in the time it takes to record the minimum 15 second clip and load time to stream it to you not allowing you to see the footage because it is only saved on the SD Card.

To be honest, at first, I considered whether to buy it for a while since the price is higher than the security cameras I have ever bought. But I was deeply attracted by the descriptions pictures, and finally decided to give it a try.I was very surprised when I received the package. Very special and interesting packing, which different from any camera I bought before.I have a dual-band Wi-Fi in my house. In the past, I need to adjust my Wi-Fi signal to 2.4G to get cameras connected. But the connection step of SimCam is much more easier. I think the reason is that SIMCAM camera supports both 5G and 2.4G Wi-Fi.It only takes me about 20 seconds to get it connected by using the camera to scan the QR code on my phone. There is no harsh sound from the sound wave connection of other cameras. Much more user friendly.The whole picture on SIMCAM App is extremely clear and has a wide view angle about 150°. I also like the design of the SimCam App. Simple and Nice. The most important point is that the motion alert is very accurate. Unlike the camera I bought from other company before, which always send me wrong message. Satisfied with the great security camera so far!

We have been having a lot of problems with our cat doing his business on our white leather couch. We tried all different products to keep it away, but none has worked out.—until we found this camera, fast, clear and motion detector. It will detects when our cat jumps on the couch and it will set the alarm off to scare him away. This has finally solved our problem!!!!!The night vision is clear too and I’m amazed with how fast the real time is. I’m able to watch him when I’m at work and I can yell at him through the microphone setting.So thank you for helping us to keep our living cat-pee free!

.I’d review this product with four main traits that I love about it. First, the quality is phenomenal. I just wanted a camera that would alert me when there was movement, not so much to go back for old footage, but it’s great for both. The footage is in 1080p and it’s really great (the main reasons I bought this camera). Second, it’s highly efficient and easy to use. I’ve never had a problem with this camera not being exactly what I wanted. the reliability of this product has truly blown me away. I saw reviews and comments about the reliability and was a little worried, but it had all the features I was looking for. I don’t really want it to be a security system like some people are trying to accomplish, I just needed something to give me price of mind when I wanted to check in and notify me of movement, which this accomplished very well. Having mentioned security system, which I have set for safety reasons. In terms of reliability, I have had an instance where my app wasn’t connecting to my camera while I was away from home, but I was able to quickly and easily reset the camera remotely within my app and it was back up within minutes. Also, I’ve been kicked out of the app twice, but that’s hardly anything to concern yourself with. The camera I have facing my porch is good, I have a great view of my front door. I highly suggest this product for anyone looking for an easy to use, quality product that is reliable and efficient!! I’ve already recommended my family and friends and will definitely purchase more of these when I have my own home.

I was searching to find a security camera to install in my boyfriend’s house since his neighbor just have someone trying to break into their house last week. This is the first AI outdoor security camera I saw on the Amazon with the person detection and facial recognition function. Everything looks good except that it’s a little pricey, but I decided to give it a try. Installation and setup of the camera was easy and quick. It took only few minutes to get the camera on work. Wide angle and the night vision are just awesome. More important, it alerts me through the APP whenever it detect a person who’s approaching to my boyfriends’s house, and it’s so accurate to my surprise! This camera is really professional, highly recommended.

It has a great view and picture. I’m impressed. I love how much I can know immediately when people passed by. If the face info has been input, it detect the face as well. Great job on this design. Wider angle than the competitors. The picture is so clear even at dark night. People could also be recognized by the camera at night. I am not sure about what is on-device AI, but it is really works faster than the cameras I bought before. No lag and no incorrect alerts a all. All my images saved in local, but not cloud, which make me feel safe since my cloud account for another camera has been hacked before. To sum up, this camera has almost solved all the problems I had before with other low price cameras I bought. Their support team is awesome as well. Very happy with happy with cool product!! Thank you for making this, keep up the good job!

Expensive, for the amount of time that it actually worked, which was about a month. After that it keeps saying(starting up, please wait). I've reset a couple time and usually it works for 10 minutes or so but then goes right back to saying the same crap. Night vision is really good tho, and overall video life feed is good. Only if it works tho.
