This way they’re still slightly transparent in indirect light, but blinding in the sunlight or well lit areas.Follow the directions included in the box and it’s impossible to mess up!

So my nail shop temporarily closed, so I needed to get my nails done so I don't walk around looking crazy. I used to pay extra $30 just to get holographic powder, but ever since buying this I'm able to save money and still get the same look. Just make sure that before you buy this item, you have a good top coat and bottom coat; also a UVD curing lamp is necessary for the best results.Depending on the color of gel nail polish, the holographic powder changes color. So if you have a hot pink, it'll be a very pretty vibrant holographic pink color. And if you go nude or black, it's just a true holographic color. Example; dark green looks like a lime green vibrant color with a holographic powder glow, dark blue looks baby blue with a holographic glow, dark purple looks like a very beautiful lilac holographic color, so on and so forth. Anyways, highly recommended and if you want length on your nails, just go get the acrylic done and ask for no polish and do it yourself. It'll still save you money and give you salon quality results.

The instructions were clear and simple to follow, even for me (it's only the second time I've used gel). I'm thrilled with the result; in less direct light it's still colorful, and in direct light it's very flashy. Even my husband thinks they look really cool and he's not a fan of crazy nails.As I saw in one other review, flecks of the powder will end up in your top coat bottle (see the sparkles on the black middle nail in my pictures). I needed to buy a no wipe top coat, and I'm glad I knew in advance that it would end up as a dedicated holo nails top coat. I got a set of Beetles gel polish with base, no wipe top, black, and white to use with this powder and it was really affordable, making me feel much better knowing the powder would contaminate it.

The media could not be loaded. Love this product! It is beautiful and I can’t wait to do some fun designs with it. I tried multiple techniques for the video I posted. The best looking nails had a color of any sort under them, the color shines through slightly making it look more like that color, black looked the best as far as a true “blank canvas”. No color underneath looked ok but it didn’t make it pop. Applying with the applicator worked but I felt it wasted powder, applying with my finger wasted a lot of powder but looked amazing until it built up on that finger so have an alcohol swab available to clean your finer between nails. The least wasteful technique was using a small nail brush to get powder from the bowl to the nail, just dab it in a couple spots the work it in with your finger, I did apply it with a brush only, no finger and just dabbing it on with a brush had no holographic look just glittery, if working into the base coat with brush applying pressure in a circular motion it looked holographic but not as crisp looking as it is when done with your finger. Definitely recommend this product, you get exactly what they show.

Buy a gel top coat when you get this so that you do not mess up your other gel top coats because when you go to use this if you use the same brush and dip it into your top coat it will contaminate that top coat you will have glitter inside of there what I did was I put a little bit out on a plate and I had another nail brush cleaned it off real good and use that there is a lot in this little container I already know it's going to last me a year I used just a little bit that was on the lid and it did a whole nail for me also please don't come at me for my nails I'm new to doing acrylics 😅 all in all I love this powder
