Q: This says it’s 6.25oz, whereas a store packet is 1oz. Is there really only 6 packets worth of seasoning in the can?

I guess so. I never thought of it that way. I only bought it this way out of convenience. The container is really not that big. I have bought the same container at local grocery stores as well.

Q: Why doesnt the label match the item? Is this taco seasoning or dumpling soup?

The picture is of taco seasoning. Apparently, Amazon's coding got a bit confused. Contact Amazon about it - be sure to take a screen shot to show them the problem.

It's a 1/4 cup of Old El Paso to a pound

Q: Why does this size taco seasoning call for using twice as much as the individual packets per pound of ground beef?

I use the amount I would like to use. I don't follow the official "recipe," as it makes the meat too spicy. Just use what you want it to taste like. Actually, I use only about 2/3 of what one would find in the individual packet.
