We have used this on our deck for 8 years. Great product that gives us the shine we want, plus the wood protection our deck needs. Only product we have found that does what we want.

Sikkens will extend the life of your deck and make it look fabulous in the process.
Used for decking in constant sunlight. I have tried all the deck stains over the years and this is the best. Their colors are consistent year to year and last longer than any I’ve used.

Color?
I have used this "off lable" in marine application for five years with excellent results. PPG color samples are poor - "mahogany" is VERY red - like cheap "mahogany" furniture. I think #005 natural Oak is closest to the standard marine product.Customer service was astoundingly good.

Great product
This is an excellent product. It provides a reddish color and seals the wood like varnish, leaving a beautiful lasting finish. It lasts about two years.

Does the trick to extend the life of your outdoor wood
I just refinished an outdoor bar with this product. It is a little pricey, but the strong southern sun destroys anything in a season. Sikkens seems to do the trick and extend the life a little further than cheaper options.

Best oil stain on the market
This product went on the deck beautifully. My deck looks like it’s a year old but it’s really 19 years old. I’ve been using the Sikkens product all that time. I strongly recommend putting down a coat every 12 months on horizontal surfaces, especially sun beaten areas. For vertical pieces you can go up to 24 months before putting another coat on.
