Richard Scarrys Best Collection Ever! 10 books collection. What do people do all day?... and other stories.

Always loved the books as a child. Now Sharing them with my grandkids.

Our 7, 5, and 2 year olds are thoroughly captivated by the happenings and inhabitants of Busy Town. We often laugh as much as they do when we read them together. There are so many fun tiny details that it feels like a new book every time! Even the ones too young to read yet pore over them and enjoy the colorful illustrations. If you’re old school and you want some good, wholesome, classic fun to share with your kiddos, Richard Scarry has your back. The value for as many books that come in this set is excellent and worth every penny.

I got one Richard Scarry book for my baby shower and from there I was hooked! I was just floored at how educational they were (they just have so many words for things that I would never even think of to show my kid), so I decided to buy the 10 pack, and when they came, I was just so pleased! They are all super informative - good for teaching kids reading and spelling, and have really cute illustrations. You can tell that this is the stuff that helps kids learn - not like most of the new stuff that's out.

This is a phenomenal value. They are missing a few pages each story from the original giant hardcover books. But these are slightly smaller (small enough to fit in a standard lamination sheet). I cut the spines off these, laminated and spiral bound them so my twin toddlers can read these without ripping pages in their room at night (or in the car). It’s been perfect for that. They love reading and love books but paper pages still get damaged.

Who doesn't love Richard Scarry books? The illustrations are always colorful and busy, in a good way. There are many scenes on a page to keep your child's interest and also inspire great interactions between you and your child. His books lots of opportunities for learning. The bright colors and artwork keep your child actively engaged in the stories. They are written in a way that both entertains and educates. We love these books!

Love the stories and are , but these ones are smaller than the originals and the content seems to have been squished to make it fit on the smaller pages. Also readers should note that some vocabulary is different than the American version, such as "ironmonger" on the hardware store and "lorry" for truck. Still, the illustrations are adorable and the stories are timeless.

This is one of the best children's book collection my son has!Every 3-5 years old kid should have this book series!Thank you Mr. Scarrys to bring this wonderful, colorful world to my son and my family!The book quality, content, picture, and text are fantastic!

Great variety of very readable and well illustrated books for 3 to 5 year olds. Note that British terms are used , e.g. petrol instead of gas.
