I'm not one for reviews, but due to the nature of what occurred I felt it would only be right to share.First off, I must say I like the quality. It's nice and comfy especially compare to other kydex mag holsters I've carried for IWB.That being said; I really wish it had a retention feature whether it be a Velcro strap, button, etc.The situation:So here I was on black Friday shopping at Best buy, looking at an item I considered purchasing I pulled up my sweater to access my cellphone that was in my pocket. I was carrying the mag holster (with an FNS 9c 17 round mag inserted) Appendix, with my firearm towards my back. I pulled up my sweater and before I could reach into my pocket for my cellphone, boom! The mag literally fell right out of the carrier, and onto the floor.Thankfully there was only one other person and my buddy in the aisle, however the teenage kid that witnessed it turned 4 shades of red, I work with a PD and explained to him that there was no worry, however. It's not everyday that people go around dropping mags in Best buy.Due to the situation above I'd give it a 2 star rating for the security of the magazine, maybe it would've held better if it was summer time. However since this occurred, I will no longer carry it with me. 3-stars because of its comfort. If they come out with one that has better retention, or another retention feature. I'd happily give it another go!

Nice price product. Looks study, fiits my S&W M&P 9mm compact masculine magazine really well. The height is perfect but it had quite of bit of wiggle room but considering it's not a hard holder with tension screws it fits pretty good, and I noticed when your are actually wearing it, it's probably not going anywhere unless you doing cartwheels. I would defiantly recommend this to anyone with compact gun that takes double stack magazine and wants a comfortable discreet way to carry an extra one.

Forgot to write a review, it’s been over 2 months or so. This concealed case is exactly what I was looking for. Purchased this case for my Taurus PT111 9mm extra concealed carry mag. Fits inside my pants like I carry my knife. Nobody ever notices and it’s never gets in my way while I’m sitting or walking of course! I will look into buying one for my Taurus PT140 for my concealed carry mag purposes. If your looking for a quality carrying case this little bad boy is well made and clip is tight never loosens with high quality metal. I’m very pleased indeed! 5 *****

I purchased the large double stack 9mm/.40 for my Glock 19 mag. I was originally torn between the large and medium due to the in-between size of the Glock 19 fifteen round mag. Wore it for the first time today, been wearing it all day right beside my Glock 19 with no issues, it's very comfortable and I often forget it was there beside my firearm. This was exactly what I've been looking for, all day comfort while carrying another full capacity mag. Also I have a rather thick "gun belt" designed to support my firearm and anything else I want to carry. The clip on this magazine holster fits perfectly, which is a plus considering some brands don't fully engage over my thick belt. Printing is not an issue, as it sits flush right next to my firearm. In my opinion, I believe the large is a little long for the Glock 19 mag because it sinks down further than I'd like it to, but at least I know it's secure and won't risk falling out. Hopefully it holds up to everyday carry. Seems to be a very nice quality for the money.

I brought this item after realizing that the one I have was a little cumbersome and I had to remove my belt to take it off and put it on and its size was a little bulky and sometimes it would be exposed when my shirt rode up so I looked for a product that I wouldn’t have to settle on and brought this and I can say I do love it after wearing the other one which I still have and has worn well a (Blackhawk) great when I go to the range, this is the answer to what I need, I wear it on the outside and inside of my pants my choice and once I found a comfortable spot on my belt for the holster I forget I’m even wearing it. For me I love this holster I have my Glock27 40 Cal. Mag and it fits like a glove. One thing to note any one purchasing this item or any thing comparable must be aware of is that no matter how much padding is on the holster the contents of that holster is still a solid unbendable object being the magazine so you will have to find that sweet spot on your belt for me I love this holster and would buy another one in a minute lets just see how well it ages thanks Houston Holsters for making this product. I got the item today so the use has been limited as of yet. Following the description, I ordered this size. The problem is, my 15 round 9mm Glock magazine is actually shorter than the pouch. All is not lost however. The pouch seems to be ideal for other items. Flashlights, other tools, and perhaps higher capacity magazines. I will probably be reordering this item in the smaller size.

This is a two part review. 1) The holster, 2) Customer service.1. The holster it self is good value for money. It’s construction seems sturdy and well made. It held my 9mm single stack mag snugly. I had no worries about it falling out. I only have 2 issues with it. First the material is padded which add bulk to it. This wouldn’t be a problem if the padding made the holster more comfortable against my body, but it didn’t. That brings me to the second problem, it was no at all comfortable. The top of the holster doesn’t go far up enough to cover the top of my mag. This means that the top of the mag sits higher than the holster leaving the padding I talked about useless and the mag digging into my side. That being said, I am on the heavier side so maybe someone with a slimmer waist may have better luck.2) The customer service from Amazon and Houston Holsters is fantastic. After my holster had been delivered to a wrong address, Amazon promptly refunded my money. After seeing that the price of the holster had gone up after I bought it, Houston sent me the Holster for free. A+ customer service from both.
