Used it under the kitchen cabinets since I didn’t wanna have to cut another one and waste it.Works perfect with Apple HomeKit and was able to set it up through the Apple home app

Bought this product and easy enough to install and looks unbelievable but... it loses connection all the time to your phone and having to reset router or lights or your phone or forget your home internet constantly gets tiresome - replacement being sent out so see how number two goes

When it works it’s fine, but a current firmware bug means it stops off the Wi-fi every day. A fix has been actively being worked on for months! Bloody annoying, you want to turn it on and you have to go and power cycle it, might as well have a switch!

I bought the Starter kit in August and the TV kit in October for my daughter's room and we're already having issues with them. When they're connected, they're good lights but the thing is they get disconnected ALL the time. To get them back working I need to constantly shift thing's about to get to the main switch and disconnect and reconnect them from the socket. Needless to say she's very unhappy with them. I've no problems with my wifi because my phone and xbox one connects to it flawlessly. Both do the same thing and that's over £130 on these LIFX products. To be having issues with them within a few months is not acceptable. Very disappointed.

Je l'ai acheté pour le mettre à l'arrière de mon bureau afin d'avoir une lumière indirect pour travailler. De plus la taille de 1m est un avantage dans mon cas ou derrière une TV ou un écran.

Makkelijk te gebruiken zonder een hub nodig te hebben. De strip wordt verkocht als een product voor op de TV/monitor maar ik heb het gebruikt op een plank boven mijn monitor, omdat ik maar 1 meter nodig had. (foto 1)Eerste keer koppelen lukt niet altijd in een keer. Als je het doet met een Android apparaat moet je het met een telefoon doen. Op een tablet krijg je steeds time-outs. Volg de instruction op de website.Het kleefmiddel bij het strip connectie stukje liet na een paar minuten bij mij los. Dit komt waarschijnlijk door het gewicht van de kabel. (foto 2). Heb dit creatief opgelost door de kabel eerst iets naar boven te laten lopen alvorens het weer naar beneden ging.Als je de verlichting met je step wilt beheersen zal gebruik moeten maken van een stem assistent zoals Google Assistant. Via de LIFX app kan dit niet. Er is wel een widget (Android) voor snelle toegang).-------Having the ability just connect the lights directly to your network rather than a hub is great.The strip is sold as a product for on the TV/monitor but I used it on a shelf above my monitor due to only needing 1m. (1st photo)Initial pairing can be frustrating, and should only be done from a phone on Android. It kept timing out with my tablet. Use the website for installation instructions.The adhesive on the strip connector got loose within minutes after applying with me due to the weight of the cable. (2nd photo). Solved this creatively having the cable go up first, to distribute the weight slightly more.If you want to control strip by voice you'll have to use one of the voice assistants. Through the LIFX app doesn't allow this. It does have a widget (Android) for quick access to lights.
