NuGoStronger Caramel Pretzel, 23g Whey Protein, 9g Fiber, Gluten Free, 2.82 Oz (Pack of 12)

I love the flavor of these bars! They are super filling and delicious with 20g of protein. The only thing that keeps me from giving them five stars overall is the shipping. The chocolate melts a bit during shipping so Amazon would do well to pack them with a small ice pack to keep the chocolate from melting and then solidifying again. I will definitely order again and I will reach out to customer service to see if they can pack them in an insulated box with a cooler pack. Otherwise I LOVE these bars.

The Caramel Pretzel used to be my favorite protein bar. It had great macros and tasted pretty good. The last two boxes I ordered have had all bars missing the caramel, and it's tough to choke down what is essentially a block of protein powder masquerading as nougat. The caramel really tied everything together, and without it, it is just all dry ingredients. I was hoping the first box of "oops, no caramel" was just an anomaly, but now the second box that I ordered a month later is the same. I hope NuGo can fix this issue soon.

These are the best tasting protein bars on the market in my opinion. I tried another popular bar and it tasted like cardboard with berries smashed into it.I usually eat half of this pre workout and the second half post workout. It keeps me full and sometimes if I forget my lunch at home, I'll eat one of these and be full most of the afternoon. It's not too chewy and definitely doesn't have a cardboard taste. Since I starting eating these and working out, I've lost 30lbs. It's easy to store and transport. I keep a box in my office drawer at all times so I can't make the excuse that I have to have a vending machine lunch.

I've had the regular NuGo bars and my three favorites are vanilla yogurt, peanut butter and dark chocolate. I wanted the extra protein so thought Id try the stronger. Although the flavor is ok, the bar is very dense, hard and chewy and not something I want to eat more than a few times if that. Now that I have the case of 12, I have been giving them to friends and family that come to visit just to get rid of them. I will definitely go back to the lower protein ones that I love as they have a texture more like a frosted rice krispy treat.I wrote the above review just after eating part of the bar (could not finish it) but a few hours later I was in misery because of horrible gas that lasted until the next day. I had not read reviews when I ordered these but did after after trying to eat one and getting so gassy and miserable! I've given several away and have yet to hear if people had horrible gas and discomfort as I did but I will never eat another one of these!

I always buy it and I really like it, this is my favorite flavor! The ingredients are a lot better than most of the similar products on the market!

this was my favorite bar for a while, but the last few boxes have just been terrible. there's no taste. once you bite it, the inside is just a pile of yellowish-brown powder that doesn't even stick to itself and falls out of the bar. it tastes like it looks, and I'm able to finish it with a lot of willpower, usually only because I don't have any other "food" options when I eat bars.

Bought these as post work out and replacement for candy bars and I am pleasantly surprised. They have slightly more calories than a Snickers, but 1/2 a bar is filling. They are "chewy", like super stale marshmallow inside, but don't stand up to 105F degree heat. Not a backpacking bar if it's going to be over 75F. I was glad they weren't grainy and dry like a lot of protein bars, they could be less sweet and still be good. Definitely buying again.

For once a bar which I would want to eat even if it wasn't a protein bar! The texture is just right, neither hard as stone like Quest bars nor overly fudgy, and there is no Maltitol. I haven't experienced any stomach discomfort with these whereas I react very quickly to Maltitol. The macros are good, with a 40/30 ratio of carbs to protein (roughly). Really good.
