This bait catches fish...saw numerous complaints of bait not getting on top or rolling...this I would imagine is due to reel speed...I throw mine on a curado with7.3 to 1 ratio...bait also kicks sideways for flash...ordered 3 more kits

Have only used the plopper so far. Doesn't seem to call up fish, but was nicely effective when they were already chasing bait topwater. Two fish in three casts. Seems to be holding up well. Main body does roll a bit on fast retreat, but slow retrieve looks great.

Unfortunately, the build quality on these items is sub-par. I purchased it for the black loon lure not realizing it was a generic brand. The black loon lure has been the most reliable so far. The other two top-water lures broke at the tail. The tail breaks free and slides down the shaft stopping at the treble hook. This can be repaired with superglue. I love these lures and they perform very well, the action is great, and the size is perfect for 15"+ northern pike and 16" small mouth bass. I think the fish I'm targeting must have been too aggressive for these specific lures, as designed. Overall, I'm disappointed by the build quality (but thankful that I can simply fix the issue) but I'm impressed with its performance. The black loon is quickly becoming my go-to lure. For reference, I fish in northern and central Minnesota.

No huge lunkers yet but the topwater action with these baits is an absolute blast. The smallmouth bass action I get to experience here on my home waters of the Clinch River in northeast Tennessee is as good as it gets. While spinner, crank and jerk baits all produce just as well -sometimes even better- nothing beats seeing the fish explode on a topwater lure! Having three different patterns with this package is awesome. Sometimes working over a pool and having no strikes can change just by tying on a different pattern.Tight lines!

These look like whopper plopplers but the quality is not that great. Still they work fine and I’ve caught some good fish and had some good times.
