This is the first harness we have found that fits our Jack Russell terrier/beagle mix. His body is long but he is barrel chested, making it difficult to find a harness. This product is super adjustable and will actually fit him properly. Do not try to make small adjustments with it on the dog, like how you can with some collars. It's not easy.I like where the D rings are located for attached a leash. Front for heeling and on the top on his back behind the handle for a regular walk where he leads.The handle is nice because he can be reactive so we expect this to be helpful if he gets overstimulated.Finally the light purple color I got for my little man is just an added bonus. I wish I would have bought this sooner.

This is literally the only harness I've been able to find that will fit my 150 pound great dane. I went into Tractor Supply and bought the biggest one they sell and it wouldn't go over his head.These are strong, easy to use, have a small built-in pocket for storing a name tag or something, and have a handle on the top for moving your dog around if you need to without pulling on their neck. The handle is also useful if you have to take them to the vet because it gives you something to move them around by when they're sedated.The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is that the snaps you use to connect the top and bottom halves once it's on are made of plastic, and for large breed dogs I would like it if those snaps were made of metal, or at the very least, reinforced. I haven't had one fail yet, but I have a feeling that if my great dane "really" wanted to get out of that harness, those plastic clips wouldn't last long.

I honestly love BarkBay dog harnesses. They are durable, they fit, and they come in a variety of nice colors. I really like the handle because it gives you the control needed for a head strong dog. I just love the fit, and the comfort, too. My dog knows how to go get one, because he has several stored in his dog/coat/harness area. He brings one to me when he is ready to go outside. These harnesses are a favorite.

This is a really nice, sturdy harness. It’s easy to adjust, put on and use. It’s obviously comfortable because my dog happily wears it whether we are on a walk or not. My only very tiny complaint is that I ordered the color red and it’s really more of a dark, raspberry-like pink. Of course that matters only to me. He doesn’t care. 😉

Great harness! Only had it a couple of months, but it’s held up against her high energy and lasted through all of our adventures thus far and been exactly what we needed.

My pup had a reoccurring sore on her neck from the rubbing of a neck collar - I got this harness & no more sore... very pleased.

With any product like this, it might not fit perfect due to the dogs structure. I have a field dog so his chest is deeper than some others so even though I measured Flash and followed the size guidelines, but the large gust didn't accommodate his chest. The exchange was seemless.

I'm actually pretty pleasantly surprised by this harness. My 80-lb dog (likely a pit/mastiff mix) is hard to fit and STRONG, and the clips on her old harness stopped working after a couple years, so it was back to the drawing board. This harness is like 90% of what I was looking for, and it will definitely do the trick.Pros:-It's adjustable around the waist AND around the collar, which I didn't realize when I bought it, but it really came in handy. My dog is super barrel-chested and basically needs two different sizes for her chest and her shoulders. I bought size L and loosened it at the chest and tightened it up at the shoulders, and it's very secure. No complaints there.-The reflective stripes are useful when she's gallivanting around the backyard at night and should be plenty visible when walking at night.-Has a handle that runs the length of the back of the harness, which is easier for me to grab when we're walking than the harnesses that have perpendicular handles right at the back of the harness. The handle is also perfectly fine -- I know some reviews said they could barely get two fingers in, which wasn't my experience at all, as shown in the photo (and my hands are not small). I could see it being an issue on XS or S harnesses, but that seems like it would be more by virtue of the harness size since there's less room to fit a full handle.Cons:-The fit isn't perfect along the belly. Keeping it tight at the shoulders and chest keeps the harness close to the skin at the clips, but it gaps along the belly. It doesn't impact the harness's security because it's still cinched tight at the shoulders and belly, so she definitely can't get out of it, but I worry that the harness will get caught on something where it bunches at the belly while she's running through bushes or something.-The color is off -- definitely more of a baby blue than a teal.-Although the handle is perfectly fine, it is definitely thinner than the one on the old harness. It seems sturdy, but being thinner and closer to the body means it's a little bit harder to grab than the old harness. It's still fine and I probably wouldn't even have noticed it if other reviewers hadn't mentioned issues with the harness, but it's definitely not perfect.All in all, this does the trick. I'll keep an eye out for the Goldilocks harness that does it all, but in the meantime, this will do just fine.

I love it and it's looks amaizng really good quality and feel prefect for my girl to go on walks, came broken before I took it out of the package. Would love a replacement if as it's unusable and will need to be thrown out as my girl will break it straight away if she was to pull.

I like everything about the harness ,well padded which is a plus as my dog has very fine fur and is a true fit
