Occult Tarot (Rockpool Tarot)

This is a wonderfully unique and interesting deck. While the imagery is not symbolically in line with the standard Smith-Waite deck (which is not the creator's intention anyway), it does follow the standard 78-card line-up. The images and descriptions of all the demons are fascinating; that alone making this deck worth owning.The quality of the cards is good. They are matte (not glossy) and as a result do not slide around in your hands like some cards do. This may be a turn-off for some people, but I like the feel of the cards. The card-stock is a good thickness and the cards shuffle well. The back of the cards is mono-directional, so doing reversals with this deck might not work so well.The booklet that comes with the deck is excellent. High quality gloss paper in full color and the cover has this wonderful "leathery" feel to it. The storage box also has this feel, and is beautifully designed with shiny red metal inlay.As a tarot collector, I am very particular in the decks that I keep. This one will be an excellent addition to my collection and I recommend it highly and without reservation.

Not that this deck is "gorey" or even "scary". Very informative and accurate. However, I feel it should've been taken more seriously than I was approaching. I didn't look into this deck further until it was delivered and found out that you can actually conjure and summon these demons. And God knows I am NOT experienced in that kind of power and was very ignorant. This is a great deck for the experienced, but I most likely will return them because I can't handle that kind of power. And frankly, I don't want to disrespect and piss off these otherworldly beings with my ignorance. Reading reviews, this deck shouldn't be taken as a "quirky aesthetic uwu" it should be taken more seriously than I intended. It's especially telling when I woke up at around 4 a.m, sweating like crazy and had a very strange feeling. Not fear, more of caution, bit of a warning. And to my suspicion, this is definitely a deck I probably shouldn't dive into quite yet

Let’s just say I’m excited to work with this deck!Absolutely gorgeous. I love the black n red theme. Came packaged good and it’s just in perfect condition!!!I’ve done my research before buying this deck and I know everyone says this is “NOT” a beginner deck!, but I am a beginner and I’m the type of person I leap before I look. I go hard in everything I do!I’m starting my journey down the left hand path and I can’t wait to start working with Bune, the goetia demon. I’m 37 and for once I feel I’m on the right path in life.I can tell u one thing for certain, the energy is strong from this deck! I put the box in my hands and closed my eyes, I could feel the energy pulsating through my hands into my arms…lol wanna hear something funny? Last night I had my phone laying on this deck while we went to bed (my wife and I) and this morning at 6:56am my phone turned on by its self and started play a YouTube video., a video about summoning demons useing the lesser keys of Solomon, a video I watched 2 days ago!!!! I feel like that was Bune communicating with me.

Incredible. Credible.I just finished my first reading.I modified some aspects from what was instructed within the booklet, such as the candle layout. Yes, there is a specific altar arrangement and direction to face for reading these cards.As always, be sure to cast your circle as the author also mentions.He also says to not omit the offering, or Lucifer will write your name in blood in the Book of Lies.There are specific instructions. This is basically ceremonial Magick.If you follow the steps lined out, you shall reap the rewards of answered questions! And the demons are true, and answer truthfully. My first reading was on point and very deep.The deck particularly utilizes the Celtic Cross spread, so it would be good to be familiar with that spread first. This is not for beginners in tarot or beginners in sorcery. Be warned.It’s not an “ask and pull” type of deck. You are summoning a demon and the additional 10 are your cues/answers.The author states to do one reading a day, maximum. Along with one reading a month, maximum. If you are an experienced occultist you may commune with the demons as thou wilt. Remember that.Regarding the Celtic cross being the only spread given to use, I believe you should remain with this format; however if you are experienced in Goetic work, feel free to do as thou wilt.The circle is now closed, my offerings made, and I feel sublime. The veil is torn open and I feel the energy beaming down on me.Dive in; mindfully. Remember to not be afraid.In all honesty, you should have Goetic practice beforehand and should have worked with demons prior to using this deck.This isn’t just an ordinary tarot deck; it’s a ceremonial magick demonic summoning and invocation. Keep that in mind. If you haven’t worked with demons before, do not start here. I mean it. My words are heavy because the work is indeed heavy. You will flex your willpower with these cards. They are more than cards, they are sigils and gateways, portals and callings.For those of you experienced in Goetic work, you will love this deck. You will. I believe you can adapt it to your workings outside of tarot, in a high magick sense. You’ll know how once they are in your hands.Do not forget the offering before blowing out the candles. Doing so will mean torment. Torment upon torment. So offer what you will, as the author gives recommendations, and do not forget it.This will enhance your tarot reading capabilities to the core. This will flex your spiritual strength to the core. This may be a test to many, but will prove a dark blessing for the few.I’m not gatekeeping, but rather giving you the facts of what to expect with this deck.Enjoy your communion with the infernal hosts of hell and get what you desire. Go in strong and capable - mindful and aware - and you will see for yourself that the gates of hell are opened unto you and forbidden knowledge has been imparted to you.

The more I use these cards the more I love them. I like how they are associated with specific cards in the rider-Waite Tarot deck. You can read them that way, or go by the demon on the card.I really like the pictures and the descriptions written on the card about each specific demon. I sometimes just like to look at the cards in the meanings familiarizing myself with the demons. They also were great during phone readings as clarifying cards. I do professional psychic readings for a living. After buying these, I also bought the demon of the day cards and those are amazing as well. I use them both together for readings as well. If one is into the left-hand path or has an interest, these cards are great for learning as well as divination. I couldn’t be happier with them.

Nice deck. Some of the demons full description is missing for instance Amon. I use the cards for quick conjuring reference. The ritual rules described in the book are not completely accurate and is to be used for divination but not the actual invocations to be done on certain days. It also doesnt tell the rank of each demon which is very important and correlates to a day of the week when its best to work with them. Very nice deck overall and can be used in actual rituals if you know what you're doing.

I loved everything about the design of the cards. I love the box and the way the lettering what metallic red. I loved the way the entire thing was packaged. I even love the art style on the cards themselves. The card stock itself was a bit thinner than what I originally thought it would be - I wouldn't say they are dangerously thin but, I would not consider them to be as sturdy as my other tarot decks. I will say that the instructions for how to use said-tarot should be taken with a grain of salt as it all depends on what you believe in.Infernals or "Daemons" were considered to be Old Gods that were demonized in Abrahamic Religion. King Solomon would use seals and talismans to bind these Daemons to do his bidding. I, for one, believe that Infernals and Old Gods should be treated respectfully, therefore I do not recommend using anything related to Solomon to "bind" and "command" these entities. To me, this is just asking for trouble - but again, it all comes down to your own personal belief and practice in the end. A very cool deck though.

I want to give extreme caution to anyone looking to buy this deck. Do NOT take this deck lightly. You need to come with respect to these spirits.This isn’t your ordinary tarot deck. This is a tool to summoning demons with this deck. If your only knowledge of demons is from the Bible - do more research before buying. You are summoning actual infernal divine who have their own hierarchy, rules, and strong suits. The writings on each card comes from the Ars Goetia - so you are reading and speaking to what Crowley wrote about these spirits. This deck is not for beginners. I know that I’m a strong practitioner but I still got my a** kicked hard. But it only made me an even stronger practitioner. When you decide that this deck is for you - come with respect and boundaries. They will push your boundaries. Do not treat these spirits like vending machines… they need to be respected.But besides all that - this deck has opened me up to one spirit in particular who has completely changed my life. Forever grateful for this spirit and this deck for opening me up to a great relationship.Enjoy! 😈😏

Beautiful deck. Connected to it within seconds when I looked at it, did not yet unpack. Cards were stuck together so I had to go one by one to separate them but that was totally okay, as I think that is normal. Matte finish which is very satisfying. Comes with a booklet but I wouldn’t recommend to beginners, if you get it make sure you get a beginners deck too to practice on it. Overall I definitely would buy it and recommend to others. Shipping was extremely fast. Ordered it on Friday night, came in on Monday morning.
