Dr. Martens Men's Hardie Chelsea Boot

***1 1/2 year update***Man, I honestly love these boots. These boots are probably on my feet 90% of the time. I just recently changed the insoles which I can't complain to much about because I've wore these on hikes, 8-10 hour days, etc. The only "complaint" is that these boots aren't ice proof... I've fallen twice while walking on ice. That's just my clumsy fault though. They're non slip in everything else though. 10/10 would highly recommend. (I'm definitely getting myself another pair once these finally decide to give out.I'll start with my pros to this boot. Very comfortable! I have had these for two days and I've worn them all day for both days. The first day I wanted to break them in and ooohhh did I. I went for a hike (multiple hours with a dog) and had NO complaints the entire time. I have multiple pairs of Dr. Martin boots/shoes and they've taken some time to break in (especially my vegan cherries still blisters galore) anyway I love these chelsea boots they're super easy to get on and off and they stay on your foot when doing activities. To my surprise they are pretty water proof. I was trekking through a bunch of watery mud the first day and did not get wet at all. Another pro is that these have a soft/hard toes shell. They're not steel toe, but I'd be perfectly comfortable wearing these in a shop/warehouse.Now on to the con(s) honestly my only problem with these boots are when I first ordered them they were a bit too big. I'm typically a size 10 in Dr. Martin's, but for some reason I had to exchange for a 9. I sent my original boots back and with in about 4 days I got my second pair. Also, with most shoes in general, these were a bit tight when first putting them on they do break in rather fast though.Overall I highly recommend these boots. They look great and feel great. After reading some reviews, who knew what some of these jambronis were talking about. Color is perfect, fit is perfect, same Dr quality. I’ll be ordering another pair. Getting tired of these generic reviews who’s truth is more of just a Karen complaint. I bought these for one reason and one reason alone, I work my butt off and don’t wanna tie my boots at 5:30 in the morning. So when it comes down to peanuts and bananas these boots are the best! You want comfortable boots for work. (Real work) not serving coffee in skinny jeans then these are for you. Check em out. You probably won’t be disappointed unless you just complain about everything anyway.

I have worn DMs lace-up boots for years, always comfortable and durable. I have had their Chelsea boots before too, but with a higher ankle - they are always a nightmare to break-in and get on/off at first. These ones were a whole lot easier to get sorted with the lower ankle. First time on was a bit tough, but after one short wearing they go on/off with ease. Excellent. I will get some black ones too.Update - I LOVE THESE BOOTS - I have three pairs now, but it looks like they'r being discontinued as they're very hard to source - typical! I am gutted.

These are great shop work boots as they are easy to slip on and off. The fit is perfect and I have a narrow foot. Very comfortable boot that can be worn for a full 12 hour shift no problem. The lug sole does pick up rocks which is irritating. A boot just like this with a smooth textured bottom sole would be great to avoid picking up junk. OVerall great boots.

Per my husband: So comfortable and after 8+ hrs. walking on cement or climbing ladders my feet feel just as good as they did in the morning. Plus they look good.

I haven’t had Docs since high school. These are the most comfortable boots and I get compliments all the time! These boots are timeless.

My 10th pair of Doc’s. They are the only shoe / boots that I own, that aren’t tennis shoes, so I consider myself a Doc connoisseur.Doc’s always fit big on me, so I use a thick comfy insole and they fit great. I get them at Walmart for $9 (hint) These also run big, but not quite as much the others.They fit tighter around the entrance, which I like. Feel a little stiff on the top part of my foot where it flexes, but not to worry, it will quickly soften.Great boot for everyday use. I definitely recommend these!!!

I love these boots already. Usually there is a break in period where they are uncomfortable for for at least a few weeks. Not these boots! I usually wear a women's 8-8 1/2 Wide. So I bought a Men's 7=Women's 8. After I put in a foot pad, because I need an arch anyway, they fit perfectly. I love the durability of Dr. Martens, and especially the soul. I realized that because my feet are wide, I cannot buy Dr. Martens that are made only for Women, as I just returned a pair that were too narrow. I also love the no lace look, and ease of taking on and off.

I already owned a black pair in this style and paid a lot more than I paid for these. I LOVE these!! Fit great, look great, so comfy I wear them on my dog walks. I bought a pair of sheep wool insoles so they keep my feet nice and warm as well. Excellent deal, quality and style. So happy with these.

I have worn Doc Marten's for 30 years now, and find it hard to wear anything else...they are so comfortable and durable. This is my first pair of boots as I have always worn low cut loafer style. These are not only comfortable, stylish, but are a much better price than comparable brands with similar features. Buy them, you won't regret it.

These were a present for my husband, he loves them. No breaking in required comfortable from first fit.

I am a gardener. These boots are perfect for me. Not too heavy and provide very good protection.I do not need or want safety cap boots. I have another pair which I use for general use, ( the good pair ).Good service and delivery.
