Silver Dollars were looking sickly and this cleared up the problem
I have a 75 gal tank and some good-sized Zebra Silver Dollars, one of which just wasn't looking great. Used this according to directions and within a week the fish was looking better and eating well. The stuff works. If your fish has fin-rot or some type of wound, you need to to try this.

Saved my Black Moor Goldfish!
My black moor goldfish accidentally got stuck in the siphon when my son was cleaning the tank and it damaged his eye. I put him in a nursing tank and added the Melafix and within 4 days his eye was completely healed. Amazing product!! The water did turn cloudy and murky with the medicine in it but I just monitored the water with test strips and as long as it was good then I continued the treatment.

This Really works!
Have you ever witnessed the ping-pong ball drop into the fish bowl and your son or daughters eyes light up like vegas slot machine? 3 years ago those lights were beaming from my kids eyes as mine were rolling back. "Mr. Bubbles we'll call him Dad" as I smiled through gritting teeth while thoughts of accidentally dropping the bowl in the parking lot danced in my head. While on the ride home I was reminiscing on all of the bad luck pets have had under our care and came up with a brilliant idea to tell my kid. "Honey, I know you love Mr Bubbles, but just know that these little fish only live a couple weeks" (I was hoping I could keep it alive at least that long) Three years and $200 later after 2 tank upgrades, pumps, filters, gravel, plants, log and all of the water conditioning chemicals Mr. Bubbles has survived. (After 3 months my kid changed the name to Miracle as it had far surpassed the life span I had given it. )About a month ago, Miracle was hanging out on the bottom of the tank, not moving to much. After a few days of him being lethargic, we noticed some white gunk on his gills and his fins were not looking good. I googled and thought I found the answer in "Ick" after that did not work and Miracle's condition worsened, I researched some more and found fin rot as the culprit. By this time, Miracle was just laying on the bottom of the tank mostly on his side, eyes clouded over…. not good. Day one after putting the Melafix in the tank, he started swimming again, By day two he looked to be swimming even better, within a week, He is like a new fish again! No more cloudy eyes, strong swimming and appetite is back. This stuff really works! Highly recommend it!

Works but is very potent, use sparingly!
I have used melafix for years with good results. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 due to the horrid instructions. If you follow the instructions as written they will have you massively overdosing your aquarium with the stuff. My advice is dose it ONE time then wait 7 days do water change etc. Even a half dose would probably work ok.

Saved my little dude
My betta fish is dramatic (this is a joke, love my little dude) and elected to be fine one moment then have crazy fin rot / nipping at his fins a few hours later, this fixed him up right away! My little guy is now happy as can be, and fins are doing great! It was easy to use, and it’s a good sized container! Unlike the small overpriced ones in stores, this will actually last an entire medicine cycle. Even more than one! It’s not very cloudy. You can see its difference in the water but it disperses quickly. Very safe. It helped him a lot he’s in much better health! Bottle looks secure and was packed well.

It works!
My baby black moor goldfish was being bullied by my other goldfish in my 10 gallon tank. They tore up his tail badly. So, I brought a big fish bowl and separated him and put him in there. I followed the directions on the Melafix and poured in the doses each day. Now, I'm on day 6 and my black moor recovered some of it's tail. Once I finish the full week I'll stop applying the medication and let him heal on his own.
