To some degree, yes. I have a macbook air, and its built-in speaker and mic is (as expected) causing echos in video conferences. I have a laptop stand that this mic can fit under, and the speakers on the macbook look upwards, and with a bit of software magic (Krisp), the results are pretty perfect. People say I have the same sound quality as they do with the company-issued sennheiser headsets, but I don't need to wear headphones.
