I would recommend reading these books. They are absolutely wonderful and fantastic. My family loved it

Though a children's tale, it is bound together by subtle threads of wisdom. A simple yet interesting language, the rich and vivid imagery and the detailed description of the life and scenes of the hill-people, which feels surprisingly familiar, all will leave you with a feeling of contentment- the kind you feel after reading a good short story. Because it's a children's tale, I didn't have any former expectations set. And thus, it left me a great deal surprised at a certain character's appearance as well as importance to the story and the unnoticed foreshadowing which I never thought could mean anything. Towards the end, I only had one word echoing in my mind - endearing..I would recommend all to read it at least once. It's at the most a 2-hour read, even for a slow reader. So there's not much to lose even if you don't happen to like it.
