Welforth Turtle on Turtle Jewelry Box w/ CrystalsAlthough this is a little smaller in size than I expected, and the weight of this makes it a substantial lasting design, and it is on the whimsical side of art design. colors are well chosen to highlight the turtle.This piece of jewel art is of two turtles with the smaller of the two riding on the back of the larger turtle.The turtles are crafted beautiful and well done the more so from the pictures can show. The only concern would be the hinge that opens the turtle's shell, being a little wobbly and might break at some point so just be easy when opening the turtles as you normally would and you should be fine.If you have a turtle lover in your family or a friend they will love this.This is after all a trinket box, and can hold a ring or two depending on the size.I would give this 4 stars only because of the storage capacity of the trinket box shaped turtle.

This trinket is beautiful and well-made. So tiny and yet very weighty in my hand. I bought this for a birthday present for a teenager that is crazy about turtles, and I opened the hinged lid and hid a folded twenty-dollar bill inside. She was delighted with the turtle. I had to clue her in to the fact that it opened up. For her, that was just a bonus!

I was looking for a Christmas gift for my boss. She loves turtles and when I saw this it looked like the perfect gift for her. It arrive yesterday and it is even nicer than I had expected. A very high quality little gift for a special person. The turquoise jewels are absolutely beautiful and the perfect finishing touch. I would highly recommend this for anyone who is a turtle lover. It is so nice I may even order another one for my wife!

I got this for my girlfriend for valentine's day and she liked it. I'm happy that she liked it but I have a gripe about it, the turtle itself looks amazong, just like it's pictured. The only thing is the thing is TINY, like a bit bigger than a quarter. When I read "jewelry box" I'd assume she'd be able to fit more than one ring in it. I'd recommend it to someone who just needed it for that but the $20 price tag is high.

My husband collects turtle memorabilia and when I saw this lovely little piece I though it would fit right in with his collection, so I suggested it as a gift idea to my daughter. She did decide to get it for him and on Father's Day when he opened his present he really was excited to see such a pretty, cute, functional Turtle(s) box that he would add to his collection. Just as cute in person as the picture on the site and seems well made for the size.

I bought this to give as a Christmas gift to a turtle lover. I can't wait until she opens it. It's really beautiful, looks just like the picture. I wish it was a little bigger, but it's a trinket box, so it's not big. The turtle shell opens and can fit two rings like a wedding band and engagement ring. The blue crystals really add to the beauty. The rest of the turtle is very natural looking, I'm very happy with this purchase.

Very cute looks like the picture but is only about an inch or two in size.. doesn't fit most jewelry.

I purchases this item as a gift for my girlfriend, who loves turtles. When it arrived, I was very pleased with the quality. First if all, it is just a little smaller than i anticipated; it can hold a rather small ring within and thats about it. The turtles are beautifully crafted and look better than these pictures can show. You need to hold it yourself and look at it in the light to understand. The construction is great as well. It probably wouldn't survive a fall, but not many things will. The only point of concern would be the hinge that opens the larger turtle's shell, which is slightly less solid as I had hoped, but this is a very minor complaint. Just be as gentle with the turtles as you normally would and you will be fine.Overall, this is a fantastic treasure that is well worth the price.

Should have checked size specifications before ordering, as the small pendant I had purchased for the gift recipient hardly fit inside. There were strings of whatever glue they used to affix the blue beads all over the item, which I had to trim myself. If you can find something similar for a cheaper price, go for it (also, double check the size of whatever you're ordering before you place the order).
