Volleyball Line Judge's Flags,Red,Large

I got these for reffing youth volleyball tournaments and games. These are the best line judge flags that you can get, period. The material and durability is great with one caveat: if you are the one using them. They will NOT survive more than a few games when you give them to kids to line ref because they pick at the ties and they will break. My recommendation after using these flags over 10 years is that you should pick these up only if you are the one planning to use them (because you take care of your own stuff but others won't) and get a cheaper alternative to give to the kids to line ref. Overall, these are the best flags you can get still.

These flags are fantastic quality, I just finished using them for a full season. If you want a set of large line judge's flag, these are your go-to. Bear in mind that the yellow carrying pouch (thick canvas material) stains fairly easily and is too large to fit in most portable duffel bags or other packs. For transportation, these are almost as bulky as a tripod. Overall I love the product, and if you get them with these potential drawbacks in mind, you are getting what you expect and they are certainly quality material. PROS: ++ Superb quality in handle, shaft, flag material, and even yellow carrying pouch ++ Comes with a carrying pouch (keep your bag clean, you don't have flags unfurling all the time) CONS: - - Carrying pouch stains fairly easily and is hard to clean PROS/CONS (depends on perspective): ?? Large, too large to fit in many bags Overall, I'd certainly buy these again, though I don't anticipate needing to find a replacement anytime soon. These flags look to be capable of holding up to the test of time.

Bought these line judging flags for our high school home volleyball matches. They look really nice, are made of very good quality materials, nice metal poles & handles with special golf-type grip handles. Flag is perfect size and they're very nice. Also comes with nice carrying pouch for each set of 2 flags. I bought 2 sets and would definitely buy them again.

These flags are very durable and will hold up to multiple sessions with different line judges every day. The bag is a nice touch and keeps everything nice and clean. They are comfortable to hold and will be used for a long time.

This flag is well constructed, with a comfortable handgrip. It is on the larger end of approved flag sizes for volleyball. I have had no problems to date with either the flags or carrying case.

Great construction and light. Flag meets HS standards. Golf grips are appreciated by all users. Just a bit long to fit in small bag or backpack, but is ok for me. Paid a couple bucks shipping from sellers and took too long. If you need it in a hurry you won't get it unless you live in west coast otherwise just take the free delivery timeline and wait for it.

This is actually Denise's husband Tony writing this review. This is my second set of Mikasa flags I have purchased as my last set broke. They broke not because of the quality of these flags but because the girls playing around with them at a tournament pulled the flag off the rod. As I have expanded my officiating I probably used these flags 200 matches a year and as long as I can keep the girls from treating the flags as toys, I am sure they will last for many years. My first set lasted 4 years and as I mentioned, only broke because they were literally pulled apart. I really like the golf grips. They are easy to hold and I am sure the flag will not fly out of my hands when I make a call unlike the flags with wood handles. I know these flags cost a bit more than other flags on the market, but as they say, you get what you pay for and these flags are extremely well made. As for the flags being a bit bigger so they don't fit into a backpack, my backpack has a strap on the side right above the mesh pocket to hold a drink. I strap my flags on the side of my backpack, not inside and it works out great.
