So far, I've used this dryer twice on each of my 3 corgis and I love it. It dries them very quickly, and when I use it outside, it's not very loud. (I haven't attempted to use it inside yet as they are blowing coat like crazy right now. ;)) I've only used it on the low speed setting without any heat and can dry each dog in about 10-20 minutes (depending on how much undercoat they have). Once they get used to it, I'll probably try the high speed setting. I also love the comb that came with it! That was a nice unexpected surprise. :)UPDATE 11/2017 - I am still very pleased with this dryer. It works great and dries the dogs quickly. I've used it pretty frequently over the last several months (as often as 3 times per week) and have not had any issues. The heat setting is nice when grooming outside on chilly days, and the air flow is powerful enough to dry them quickly, or just blow out their undercoats while they are shedding. Today I got a nice surprise in the mail. Free Paws sent me their grooming/bathing glove for free. Wasn't expecting that! Thank you!! :)UPDATE September 2018 - The motor blew on my dryer. I emailed Brandline to let them know and without hesitation or question, they sent me a replacement motor a few days later. Unfortunately, that motor had a bad switch so they sent me a whole new dryer - but during shipping the power switch on the new dryer somehow disconnected and the switch was loose inside the dryer. They sent me a video to show me how to repair or replace the switch, and I was able to make the repair without any issues. The dryer works good as new now. Their customer service is FANTASTIC. All of this took place in 1 week - from receiving the first replacement, second replacement, and instructions to repair the damaged switch. They have responded very quickly to my messages and worked with me to correct my problems. Very pleased with them!

I work with animals as a trainer and I work part time in a groom shop so I know how a good dryer should work and quite frankly I like this unit better than the more commercial ones that are three to four times the price. It works perfectly as a high-velocity dryer pulling out undercoat as well as a dryer at a bit of a lower speed for regular drying. I want to note that purchased this I am using this in my home, not at the shop. This said I have anywhere from 5 to 8 dogs in my home at any given time, depending upon who I am fostering for our local shelter and I bathe them at the least once every 2 weeks. This works wonderfully and the noise level is less than I would have expected. With the assistance of this I have been able to bathe and dry to completion in 2 hours on the same day sequentially: a Boston Terrier, a thick haired Border Collie, a Boxer/Mastiff Mix, a Rhodesian Ridgeback/Great Dane mix, an American Staffordshire Terrier, a Shih Tzu mix and a Shih Tzu/Bichon mix. This including brushing them out. I am not just pleased with my purchase I am thrilled!!! For this price I was thinking I was going to have to compromise a bit but really wanted to make sure that I could get my dogs dried well at home and set the shelter dogs up for success when they go to be groomed. This has never over-heated, even when doing this many dogs in succession, and the air has never gotten so hot that I felt the need to give the unit a break. I am not using the heated drying feature as there has been no need. Just using on forced air. It does slightly warm but nothing at all that would cause any discomfort. There are nozzles and features included which I choose not to use, but others might find helpful, it is nice to have them should I ever need them.

I've always used my own hand-held hairdryer on my dogs, and had no idea what I was missing. This hairdryer its compact, with a long flexible hose, and it's quieter than my hand dryer. I'm grooming a puppy, so I keep the heat and airflow on the low settings, and it still does a wonderful job of blowing out his coat for even clipping. It also dries much quicker than anything I've tried in the past. For the people who complain about the noise, this is not a noisy unit! Go into a professional groomers place, where several are going at once.Also, you can't just start drying your dog his first couple of times and expect no reaction. I start by turning the dryer on and immediately off, then I treat my dog. I don't even try directing air at him at first. Once he's comfortable with the sound I briefly blow on his feet from a distance, and treat again. You start slowly, and give lots of praise and rewards. It took me about 15-20 minutes of working with my puppy while he was dry to get him comfortable.I love this dryer! I've been grooming my own dogs for years, and this dryer has been a game changer!!

This dryer is really nice. it is designed well and is powerful on the high setting. It is very quiet on the low setting so it didn't scare my puppy during his first few baths. Now that he's adjusted to it we are able to use it on the high setting for most of his body and just use low setting for around his face. Heat also works very well. Gets hose hot on the high setting but air is not too hot for dog. Good item for a good price.

This arrived today. It came recommended on a dog grooming website. The Amazon reviews were good. It has a foreign plug…. so I cannot plug it in an use it. So frustrating. Why is it that nothing ever works first time?!So a few days later I attached an international adapter plug on, turn on the dryer and tiny bits of broken glass came flying out. It was like being blasted by painful pieces of sharp dark brown glass like material. After a few seconds I turned it off and to top it all off, it caused our fuse to trip. Dangerous product. Do not buy or use.
