Bidet builds for plus-sized males. This solution solves several issues with bidets: 1) To quote another reviewer - "The need to reach under the toilet to turn off the water source to the bidet EVERY TIME that you use it. Failure to do so will cause the bidet's hardware to prematurely fail and FLOOD YOUR HOUSE--releasing the manufacturer from liability"; 2) The need to avoid just hand tightening critical plastic connections by substituting metal ones and really tightening them; 3) Hooking up a hot water line; 4) Cleaning the private parts of plus-sized males, and 5) Making the hand-held sprayer hose reach further.Observations: 1) The hand held sprayers that look like those on kitchen sinks don't easily get at big men's private parts; 2) You will also find it really hard to clean your butt with them; 3) The 4' hose seems too short; 4) They seem to be prone to leaking (i.e., 2 out of 3 of my purchases - valves and sprayer heads); 5) Otherwise the under the seat model I chose seems really exceptionally nice. E.g., Not only feels really good, saves toilet paper big time, and reduced my septic clean-outs from once a year to once every several years ($$$).Use plumber's tape (aka. Good bidet, but.....(no pun intended)
Let me preface by saying that I've had to buy this bidet twice after the first one broke, but that was partially my fault. On the on hand it did break and in the process of breaking I discovered a few shortcomings in terms of quality which I'll discuss in detail below; but on the other hand when it came to choosing another bidet I still picked this one because when factoring price/features/value it's still a good buy.The first one broke because I installed it incorrectly. There are two rubber bumpers that sit between my toilet bowl and my toilet seat. Those bumpers are meant to cushion whatever is directly above the bowl from the hard ceramic. The right way to install the bidet would have been above the bumpers and below the toilet seat. At first I installed the bidet directly above the bowl, then the bumpers, then the toilet seat. The result is that every time you sat down to do your business you would be putting a lot of force on the bidet crushing it between the toilet seat and that hard porcelain so eventually it cracked and began leaking. I say this is partially my fault because I should have noticed that when I was installing it, yet at the same time it's not entirely my fault because the installation instructions were very rudimentary. They don't describe what you need to do step by step, they just give you a 4 picture diagram, throw a few parts in plastic bags, and wish you luck. Granted it's not rocket science but if someone isn't very "do-it-yourself" inclined they may struggle. And even if you are "do-it-yourself" inclined you may make a stupid mistake like I did and ruin it.Here's the good:1- It has adjustable water pressure, Adjustable (hot-cold) selector, self cleaning nozzle that works well, and also an awkwardly labeled "woman cleaning" mode which covers a slightly larger surface area with spray than the regular mode.2- For a bidet with all those features the price is hard to beat.3- Shipping was fast and easy.4- It includes all the parts you will need for installation. All you need is an adjustable wrench, a flat head screw driver, a sharp exacto knife or something similar to cleanly cut the rubber hoses, and a knowledge of where your hot and cold water shutoff valves are.The bad:1- Installation instructions unclear.2- plastic Prone to cracking if not installed properly and under stress.3- There's no one way flow valve which means that since all the piping / tubing is interconnected if you turn on the hot water in your sink the hot water pressure will reach the bidet. So if you use the bidet directly after using the hot water in the sink then piping hot water will shoot out of the bidet for a few seconds even if the "Cold" option is selected. Those few seconds are enough to give you a nasty burn where you least expect it. Let's just say it's a very unpleasant thing to have happen. The trick is to run the bidet in self-cleaning mode for a few seconds to use up all the built up hot water first.4- Since the tubing that goes from your water pipes to the bidet are rubber they harden with time, especially after having hot water flow through them for so long. This isn't a problem unless you want to uninstall the bidet and reinstall it again. Then the hardened rubber won't seal as well and it will spring leaks. (I found this out when I tried to use the old tubing on the new bidet) That didn't work. I had to reinstall the whole thing.I hope you find this review useful.

I WILL NEVER BE WITHOUT A BIDET AGAIN
First of all let me say that I bought this several months ago, then procrastination took over and I did nothing. The reason I bought it in the first place is that I am left handed and my left shoulder is shot. I have to have it replaced . enter reason No shoulder can't wipe my --- anyway the day of surgery is fast getting here so I finally got the thing hooked up. With no problems I might ad and no leaks.I have to tell you had I known how well this thing works I would have had one years ago . the rich people no about them I know rich people and they have them , but do you think they ever once said oh you have to get a bidet they work so well and SAVE YOU MONEY TOO. I'll get back to that. But first I need to say I love this thing so much I can't wait to go to the bathroom and if possible I will never be without one again. Now back to save you money. Somewhere in these reviews some guy was just as mad as he could be because he said it didn't save any money you still had to use a lot of toilet paper to dry off. WRONG the whole reason for the bidet is to wash the ---- off of your --- so when done it is nice and clean, all you have to do ids dry off with a towel just like when you wash any other part of your body I used paper once what a mess I haven't used paper since and the towel isn't soiled. Hate to be so blunt but that is for those who don't get subtlety

Excellent Bidet!!
This is the first time I used a bidet and I am simply loving it ;). very very hygienic and very convenient and nicely priced (when on 50-60% off). The do-it-yourself kit includes everything that you need, but it requires a handy-man job if the sink is sitting on a cabinet or a vanity and hot water-line resides inside the cabinet, in that case you gotta drill a hole to bring the pipe out. So take extra care to locate the spot where you want to drill the cabinet. The white PVC pipe is long enough to conenct to the hot water line as well as to the cold water line. I did not have to use the flexible metal hoses included in the packet as I already had them in my bathroom. I am yet to discover how well it mixes the hot water in those cold winter days. For now, this remains in my good-buy list.

Great value for the money
I had received the bidet in 3 day's, just what they had said. I had connected the bidet in 30 min witch was very easy to do. It had come with all the parts needed for the job. You do have to run the hot water in sink to get the hot water to the bidet quicker. It is a great buy for the money and works just fine. It has now been a few weeks and started to leak inside unit and had to return product.

Simple and easy to install!
Finally decided to the the plunge after reading reviews of this bidet on Amazon and the price seems to be decent. My first impressions of the bidet is that the build quality appears good. The installation of the bidet was simple and straight-forward as it came with all the necessary parts to install, but it might be time consuming to some. Overall, it was a good purchase and I am happy with this product.

It looks like this item has gone up in price since I purchased it. If I'm not mistaken, it was well under $50.00 ... which is why I rated it 5 stars. It works well, was easy to install and I have no complaints. We have one of this model and 3 Luxe Bidet Neo 320 (Elite Series) - Self Cleaning Dual Nozzle - Hot and Cold Water Non-Electric Mechanical Bidet Toilet Attachment w/ Strong Faucet Valves and Metal Hoses. I actually prefer the Luxe Bidet but they are a little more expensive (no by much, though) ... and they look nicer. Either way, I give both models 5 stars. No complaints and I would recommend either.

Great quality and price
Bought this for my elderly mother in law, and she really likes it. Some of her friends have the more expensive fully automatic type, but this one works just as well. Was easy to install (if you don't mind working around a toilet and under the sink) and they supplied all the correct fittings - didn't have to go out to buy anything extra and really appreciated that! Since it's in her bathroom, I have not used it myself, but she tells me you can cover all the right places just by shifting your bum on the seat a little :)
