TRUE MODS LED Brake Tail Light for Harley Davidson - DOT Claw-Design License On Top Square Smoked Rear Red Stop Lamp Assembly for Sportster Dyna Fatboy Road King Electra Glide Ultra Softail Heritage

Purchased for my 2017 Harley Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Limited to replace factory installed light. Wanted more visibility for safety sake. The light came excellently packaged and all parts required were contained in the box. The instructions were easy to follow, written clearly in English, using correct grammar. The product and its components were well made and fit the existing wiring harness/circuit board perfectly. The details in the wiring instructions were spot on and made installation a breeze. Removal of the existing light and installation of the new one took me less than 20 minutes, taking my time and operationally checking each connection as it was made. (Need only a #2 Phillips head screw driver to install.) The lights are very bright and function as described on the website.

I got this for a 2011 Superglide (Dyna platform). The tail light with the integrated blinker keeps the bike sleek without the blinkers sticking out. The blinkers are bright and easily seen, according to those people who follow me. Fitment can be a little difficult. I did not have enough room to attach it with the plastic connectors in place. I removed the plastic connector on the circuit board on the bike. This left just the pins sticking out. I made a diagram so I knew what pins I needed to use. I put heat shrink tube over the pins that I didn't use. On the tail light, I put heat shrink over the connectors on the wires and then pushed them over the pins on the bike. That gave me enough room to attach the light to the bike. My bike has a little work done to it so it shakes pretty hard. The shaking did not work out well for me. I had one light fail and it was out of warranty. I got another one because I really like the look. This light also failed. I contacted the company and they sent me a new one. Since I had one that wasn't returned I took it apart. There are some wires that connect the LED circuit boards that broke. I think if the wires were glued down they wouldn't have broke right at the solder point. I emailed the company and told them what I found and my suggestion. We emailed back and forth 10 or more times about my findings and suggestions. These loose wires look like the only achilles heal on this light. It may just be how much my bike shakes. If they haven't already started gluing them, do it and you shouldn't have any problems. The customer service is TOP NOTCH! I don't think you will find another company this attentive to a costumer on Amazon. They were eager to make things right and fast. I wouldn't hesitate to buy any products from them.

I like the tri-bar style, the running light leaves a bit to be desired in brightness for daytime use. But it makes up for those shortcomings in brake light and turn signal brightness. The F1 flasher doesn't work in conjunction with the turn signals (which is better as to not confuse the flashing for the turn signal), but when shut off the flasher engages. Not a fan of how the turn signals go dead and then back to running light after use. Tag light isn't the brightest but will do, and overall construction gets an A+. Perfect fit and even has the proper shaping of the lense to use the stock screws. If you're stuck between this and the Motovor, buy this one. MOTOVOR has a habit of shorting out, and I hope this one does not.

Looks awesome and quality is great very happy overall. What helped me the most was another’s person’s picture of the wire instructions here in the comments. written Instructions were good but guess I’m more of a visual guy to follow instructions. What I struggled the most was the fitment of the whole assembly unit back to the bike. Due to the hard rubber gasket it has a lot of resistance while trying to tighten the screws where I needed a second person to press the unit down while I screwed the screws BUT other than that it was worth it. Overall took me around 25mins

I have a 2001 FLSTFI Fatboy. I contacted this seller via text (as they are still not answering calls due to "muh coof" (they're in Cali - go figure - it's March 2022!). Anyway, they did respond to a text advising me that this light would fit my Fatboy. I received this light for my bike and the box looked like it might be a previous return. Well surprise surprise! I opened the box and the white molex connector for the "plug and play" install was missing. Gee...that's convenient! I figured I may as well test fit this thing before I send it back for a replacement. Well f$8K me! This thing won't freakin' fit! The recessed area in the back of the light is not deep enough to accommodate the backside of the two small blue molex plugs once they are plugged in to the appropriate receptacle on the bike. There's not way to completely secure the light to the mounting area on the bike. FAIL! I guess this could be a nice tail light/brake light/turn signal light if it fits your bike. Unfortunately, this one did not fit as advertised plus it was missing parts when received. Back to the mother ship with this one!

This light looks great. It's bright, and functions exactly how I wanted it to. It was easy enough to install, however there were some issues. The first one I got had a wire that was detached from it's harness, so I had to have the whole thing replaced. The second one, however, was much more solid. However the it was not wired right so I had to redo the wires. Took about 10 minutes to do, and installation took maybe 30 because I had to rewire the blinkers on my bike. After all that whough, it works great.
