Good treadmill but there are caveats
So the treadmill is pretty great overall. I'd researched treadmills for ages and almost went with a incline trainer I'm more of hiker/walker than a runner plus those go up to 40% incline which would be perfect for the iFit guided hikes. So I ordered this treadmill on March 17 and it showed up that Wednesday. The delivery crew showed up on time but they had it loaded first in the truck so they had to play tetris to get it out. Then they couldn't get it on the lift gate. It was at this time I noticed that on the box it says machine lift only. These guys had a tiny dolly. They ended up lowering the lift to get it on to the small dolly and that is when then dropped the treadmill box right in the middle of the road. I thought it crush one of the two guys but he made it out of the way. Finally they get it up to the garage and leave it there but not before knocking over all our bikes like that scene in One Crazy Summer. Anyway they really only had to leave it on the curb so I'm glad they got it into the garage. So we popped the box open after they left and all seemed to look good. This is HEAVY and a pain to move as was indicated by the machine lift only sticker. When you get it out of the box I suggest installing the piston first so you can roll it to where you want in the house without needing a high school lifting team to assist. That way the deck is locked up and you can just wheel it around. Also take into account where you want it first because this thing will not fit through a standard door without some creative sideways sliding action. Hint: Save some of the box to use as a sled when you get to this step.Once you have it where you want it goes together pretty easily unless your young kids are crawling all over you while asking a million questions.iFit is pretty cool but still has a long way to go like perhaps including a search feature. Tech support said they are working on it. But this makes long sessions fly by. It is really amazing! Not Peloton amazing but really great none the less.Doing the workouts that have you off the treadmill can be a huge pain because the screen is only 10" and doesn't move much. Look to the Nordictrack 2950 if you want to do that stuff easily. When you set up your iFit account do it via the iFit web page and not on the treadmill. Also make sure you put the - in between the numbers on your included card otherwise it will say the number is invalid or has been redeemed. If you have a heart rate monitor already that is BLE (4.0) compatible it self sync's just by being near the treadmill and you don't have to use the app like the instructions tell you.You can't pair your iFit app with this treadmill. Apparently that is for products that do not include a touch screen. There was some confusion on that as well. The manual also advises that there is an interactive product tour on the touch screen and there is not. Finally, here is my biggest grip. The description on Amazon sucks so if you go to the Nordictrack page or any reviewer of the 2019 version of the 1750 you will see that this treadmill is supposed to include the tablet holder and a chest strap heart rate monitor. Nordictrack advised me today that the version that is indistinguishable via model number and is sold by Amazon does not include either of these items. I was PISSED to say the least as this is really shady. The tablet holder is an extra $96.00 and the HR Monitor was another $125.00. Reading the reviews and comments here it looks like some people received the tablet holder while others did not and I'm not sure about the HR monitor so your mileage may vary.

Good in theory, poor execution
I've had this machine for 2 weeks now and it hasn't worked seamlessly once. Every workout required a long boot time, stalled programming, or wifi connection problems. It took 10 minutes every time to sort out kinks (turning off/on, resetting the console, restarting the wifi connection), and today after working great for 25 minutes the motor stopped cold mid-workout while the display moved right along as if nothing has happened. Now the motor will not operate while the console connects as if it's running. I really liked the iFit workouts, but the amount of time it took to start a workout coupled with the other issues I've seen have not been worth the effort. I also find it odd that there is so little online information on how to troubleshoot issues with this machine.

required credit card to use iFit
I love the treadmill and the iFit feature. The part that makes me only give 2 stars is the required credit card to activate the treadmill. It comes with a free 1 year membership to iFit but still requires entering a credit card. I entered the promo code for the free membership and all was good. The next day I noticed my credit card was charged $431 for a 1 year membership. I called and they said it would be refunded. 2 weeks later and a few more calls ( lots of hold time ) I finally got the refund.

Great treadmill, but beware, the iFit subscription cost is absurd after year 1
I love the treadmill, quality is excellent, does everything I could want it to do. But the iFit subscription--which is required to set up more than one user profile--is an astonishing $40/month after the introductory year. That's almost $500/year. After 4 years, you've paid more for iFit than you did for this commercial-grade treadmill.I gave the treadmill four stars instead of five because of this, but truth be told I would not select this treadmill again had I known that my wife and I wouldn't be able to set up and store our own user profiles on this very pricy unit.

So glad I bought the Commercial 1750
This eliminates all excuses; it's raining, it's too cold, it's too hot, it's dark, etc. It's right in my living room! I have no excuses now, PLUS I paid over $1,800 for it! If you can afford to throw away $1,800, you're a luckier person than I am. This treadmill is comfortable, can easily fold, has a bright display, and you can hook up your iPod/MP3 to the consult as well. The fans work well, too (two settings). This treadmill was well-worth the purchase price. DEFINITELY have it professional assembled though; it was only $68. I do not recommend attempting assembly yourself! Nice job, NordicTrack.
