fixed rusted spots...not too bad...but it will last for a few years.
Color match is not the same...a bit darker but, it will do.

Simple to Use
After noticing rust on my dishes I found out my rack has some crazy rusted areas. Some which have opened up the original coating. I sanded the areas and applied the product. It goes on easily, but does get sticky in the bottle after being open for a bit. Very much like old nail polish consistency, but a little more rubbery. The smell is strong so I would suggest using it in a well ventilated area. From the areas that have dried it goes on with the same texture and feel of the original dishwasher pieces. The color of the liquid though is a little darker grey than the rack. The end caps are very helpful as well for sealing some of the more severe rusting spots. Seems like it'll last so I'm excited to see how long it'll solve my problem. Fingers crossed that it's for a long while.

Working great -- and not just in the dishwasher
So far, Uber Goop has been great! I had to use a hacksaw to remove the rusted end of a horizontal rod in my Bosch dishwasher (it was too thick for wire cutters). I accidentally applied two coats, allowing an hour between, before immediately adding the end cap onto the second (thick) coat. (I had read the wrong section of the directions.) I also applied a little extra around the edges of the cap, which I had trimmed to fit. After the first load of dishes (24 hours after the Uber Goop), it seems to be holding great! It worked SO well, I decided to paint some on a one-inch tear in a thin part of the seal on my refrigerator door. So far, it's holding perfectly! Also, I very much appreciated that before I started, I had asked some questions on Amazon, and the seller (RusSan Enterprises) was great about quickly and patiently answering them. They were absolutely correct about the flexibility of the caps: I was able to use a tweezers to stretch the cap wide enough to fit, despite a diameter significantly greater than that of the vertical tines on the dishwasher rack. I definitely recommend this! I'll update with durability in a few months.

Time will tell
It is too early to tell how long the repairs will hold up, but 1 bottle had enough in it to treat all the rust spots that showed up on my dishwasher after about 2 years of use. You definitely need to get acetone to dilute the Goop towards the end of use, as it will get gummy well before the bottle is empty. It is darker than the racks I applied it to, but I didn't expect the color to match exactly.

Saved me hundreds
I’ve had my Jennair dishwasher for about 9 years. A few years ago, I noticed some tines starting to rust. I kept putting off doing something about it and noticed more recently. The replacement racks are ridiculous in price. Might as well buy a new dishwasher. Then I found this stuff. The color matched pretty well with my dark gray racks. I just cleaned up the parts needing touching up and painted some on. I’d let it dry and add another coat Some end part, I’d brush some on and then use a cap. One wire had bad exfoliation and there wasn’t much left of it. I cleaned it up and did multiple coats of this to build it up. It wasn’t a main area of the rack, so it wasn’t crucial, I just wanted it to look better. Came out great. It’s been a few months now. Probably done around 100 washes. Everything is holding up just fine.

So far, so good.
I had a rubberized tine break off in my overpriced German dishwasher that begins with a "B." That started rusting pretty quickly, of course. Once I bought the goop, I sawed off the what was left of the tine, and sanded down the metal at the nub to get rid of rust, and then coated it with this goop. I did two coats, after letting the first dry for a few hours. That was about 3 weeks ago, and so far all is well - no new rust. My only gripe is that there is a LOT of this stuff, and from the instructions it appears it won't last long once opened Also, it came with a bunch of rubber tips I didn't need. I probably could have spend more time researching, and maybe found a smaller bottle of the goop with no rubber tips, so that's probably more on me than on the seller or the manufacturer. Overall, recommended.

Does the job right
Took a chance on this brand, and am glad I did. Our fancy dishwarsher was starting to show its age, and initially thought we’d have to replace it. A replacement rack was almost the same price as a new warsher. I fixed up the broken rusted tines and cage using a food grade putty epoxy and then coated with the vinyl goop. It has held up for months at this point and shows no sign of wear. Definitely happy with this product.
