I took a gamble on this because the reviews didn't really say much.First off, I dont drink a lot of water. 8 ounces a day tops. I can milk a can of diet coke all day if it keeps me from drinking water (that's how bad it is). So... bad.So, I did my research. The other ones on the market had pretty horrible reviews because they didnt sync with apps- this one doesnt have that problem since all the info and tracking is right on the bottle.I got it in, read the directions (you really should do this part) and got to sipping. I couldn't believe how much water I've been drinking!I am one with the toilet (I use it a lot now) and couldn't be happier! The timer goes for 24 hours and you set your own goals. If you follow the directions- it tracks it perfectly. Slow and steady sips- that's what it needs to read your water intake. Fast sips won't make the counter move. Slow and steady wins the water race.I got the aqua color bottle- super sturdy and pretty (can bottles be pretty?) It feels like it won't break easily. The lid is sometimes a pain to put on because it has to line up where it catches, but definitely not enough to not be happy with it all.It takes a watch battery to run (the common one) but comes with one so you can get to tracking right away.Cleaning is a breeze, just dont put the electronic part in the water (the bottle comes apart for cleaning).Super happy with it and would buy it again given the chance!

I’ve only had this a few days so far but I absolutely LOVE it!I was hesitant to spend $40 on a water bottle, especially after reading some of the reviews but I am thankful I didn’t let them influence my decision to purchase one because this truly is a great product and I have found it to be very effective in helping me reach my daily goals.Now that I have this water bottle and have used it everyday for almost a week I think that many of the things mentioned in other reviews were user error and not with the actual product itself.It is easy to set up/program and it comes with VERY clear easy to understand and easy to follow directions (and I’ll admit I’m horrible with setting up tech stuff) but this was super easy even for me!I am a coffee drinker and can (and many days do) drink coffee all day long and I do my best to drink enough water each day and always fall very short of my goal... I have tried various apps on my phone that have reminders, making hydration charts and hanging them on my fridge, keeping a log in my journal, had reminders set on my old activity tracker and also on my apple watch and I have purchased several other reminder water bottles but this is by far the best I have found and what has made a significant impact on my daily water consumption!With the digital reminder right in the bottle it makes me more accountable and aware and I can see how many ounces I’ve drank and how many ounces I average per hour and how much more I need to drink. It’s sooooo much easier than trying to drink on command when I get a reminder on my phone or Apple Watch and super convenient because I don’t have to keep track of anything because it does it all for me!I know some people left reviews about having difficulty with the straw but I love it and don’t think it’s hard to drink out of at all!And my 4yr old obviously doesn’t either because he’s always trying to steal it from me and sneaks sips if he gets the chance (even if he has his own water bottle right next to him because mommy’s is cooler)In fact I am going to order another one right now for my almost 90yr old grandma who doesn’t come close to drinking nearly enough water a day and forgets how many bottles of water she has drank and ends up thinking she drank a lot more than she actually has so she won’t have to worry about keeping track or remembering if she’s on her 2nd or 3rd bottle because this will do it all for her! I let her try mine the first day I got it and she was really impressed and likes it a lot and she had no issue with programming it which says a lot because she can’t even figure out how to use her tv remote and just switched back to a flip phone because her iPhone was too confusing to her.In the few days I have been using it and nothing else has changed I have lost close to 4lbs already which is an awesome bonus and there’s a noticeable difference in how much more hydrated I am now that I’m drinking the amount of water I should each day and I didn’t realize how dehydrated I actually was.I also love that you can enter your personal details and it tells you how many ounces you need based on your weight and that it isn’t just a set amount.The only negative thing I can say about it is that I’m going to have to order a few more so my kids can all have their own so they don’t try to steal mine!If you need help with accountability to drink more water, simply just want to increase your daily water consumption or just want an overall great water bottle this is for you!If for any reason my opinion of this item would change over time I will update my review to reflect that because I like to give honest reviews because I know there’s a lot of people like myself who rely on them when considering purchasing something.If you found my review helpful please click that it was to help others see an up to date honest review.On a scale of 1-10 I would rate this water bottle a 20!!-Just as Described-Colors shown are accurate-Accurately measures your water consumption (I tested this out every time I refilled it for the first 3 days and every time the # of ounces I poured in it and the ounces it counted that I drank when it was empty were exact every time)- Easy to set-up/program- Effective in helping increase water intake- Arrived on time- Packaged well- clear well written easy to follow instructions- highly recommend

The concept is great and it worked for a week or two. But now the display constantly resets. Kind of pointless when halfway through the day it makes me go through the setup process again. I did message seller to see if perhaps I have a defected one but have not heard back. Two stars because I do like the concept and the days it did work, it was nice to have. However, the quality seems to be lacking.

The company is responsive with problems, which is nice. My first bottle did not work, so I contacted HydraCoach directly and the company replaced my bottle. Sadly, my new bottle only worked for 3 bottles of clean plain water and then stopped working, as well. So now I have 2 non-working bottles. I'm too frustrated to bother contacting the company again.

I am a "fluffy" person trying to lose weight and gain overall health. I just got this bottle two days ago and I already feel the benefits. It's making me more conscious of what I'm drinking...and is allowing me to quantify the water I'm consuming. Super easy to use and nice looking too. Love it so far! :)Edited to add...the bottle worked for about six months then stopped registering intake. I ordered a replacement part which fixed the issue, but only for about 2 weeks. Disappointed because I love the concept.

I own 2 of these. 1 for me. 1 for my wife.The good - well it's a water bottle and functionally it accomplishes that task just fine. It does also calculate volume of water drank (when working)... and seems to do so relatively accurately. The size is good too - standard I'd say for a water bottle. It's kind of the only option on the market right now for a smart water bottle.The bad. The cap does not close/seal. So you will get spillage if it knocks over or you put it in a gym bag for example with water in it. Sucking water out of it is an effort. You've got to bite down on the mouth piece which gets old after a while. It makes a noise when you drink from it as it spools - this can actually wake up a partner in the middle of the night if you take a drink of water. The display is not robust. My wife's has quit working already (less than 2 months) - so it's useless now. Price - it's really expensive (this is relative but for the price you'd expect a premium product). The digital program seems like an old calculator watch technology - it does not auto reset the timer nor is there any historic data saved. For ex it would be nice to see how you're tracking over a week or month.All in all it works. Just not what you'd expect for quality and features at this price point.
