U will get 50 embroidery/cross stitch threads in 50 different colours. There is a good spread of colours from the whole wheel of colour, each skein is 8 metres in length. There are 6 strands of thread in each skein that can be divided if needed, for example if u are doing cross stitch u sometimes different amounts of strands if the aida u are stitching on has different size holes. These threads are great to use with kids for doing different craft activities like making friendship bracelets, threading beads onto, hanging suncatchers or making dreamcatchers, weaving etc. They can also be used in sewing projects & to create embroidery pictures. Included in the pack is 10 embroidery needles, 10 card bobbin winders, a thimble & a needle threader. These are all useful tools to use with the threads for sewing purposes.

I’ve just started learning embroidery and this is ideal to practice with as it contains a really good selection of colours, the thread is a good thickness but you can separate the strands so it’s thinner and it goes abit further. The little thread cards that come with the kit are really useful to stop your thread getting tangled too.

Arrived quickly but there’s no unwinding tool nor is there a threader. A bit disappointing as I need the threader as I have glaucoma and can’t see to thread a needle easily. The band labels on the threads have been glued on afterwards and the two I have tried to use have the thread stuck to the label which means you can’t pull a length out to use. There is a good range of colours so, for the price I suppose I shouldn’t have expected much more.

For weeks after delivery I received request after request to review this item. It was a fair item for the money, but should not have needed that many requests. I suppose the robot was never going to take the hint.

Really good value for money, good quality threads, and lots of different colours. You get a good amount of thread in each shade, and it’s very self explanatory.Would buy again.
