Good vegan & gluten-free snack, but basically just peanuts, sugar, and soy.
On the surface this is marketed as a natural, protein-packed product. It is 70% organic, mostly natural, and tastes great. Crispy and not too sweet. One bar alone isn't very filling (at least for me, a 5' 10" man). The ingredients are mostly roasted peanuts, chocolate + sweeteners, plus soy for the protein. It doesn't offer much in the way of micronutrients/vitamins (i.e. it's not a meal replacement) but it's good for a quick pick-me-up with fats, protein, and carbs. It's very similar to the Nature Valley Protein Bars, Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate, 26 Count, except this one is mostly organic, vegan, and gluten-free. It has a little bit more fat and sugar, but not enough to be unhealthy. If you really want a protein-centric bar, I still think CLIF BUILDER'S - Protein Bar - Chocolate Peanut Butter - (2.4 oz, 12 Count) are the gold standard: 20g in every bar and each one is very filling despite being similar in calorie count as this product. However, Builder's Bars aren't organic, "may contain" gluten products, and use palm oil (an environmental concern). They do have a certified GF bar, but that one doesn't have much protein content. In summary, these are good for a light, quick, snack if you really care about the 70% organic, but just keep in mind that they're mainly for snacking and not to be meant filling enough as a meal.

A Tasty Treat (+ Ingredient List, Nutrition Facts)
Flavour: Dark Chocolate, Peanut, & Sea SaltThis protein bar is actually delicious, and it was a great way to sate hunger pangs between meals. Although I did expect it to have a bit more salty to complement the sweet. In fact, the salty was barely there, but the sweet was unmistakeable. That said, I was surprised with the amount of sugars versus the amount of protein. Since I’m watching my processed sugar intake (and these bars do have a few processed sugars), I’d stick with a handful of peanuts and cashews with half an ounce of 70/85 dark chocolate which would yield roughly the same amount of protein with nearly half the sugar. In a pinch, though, I would definitely grab one of these bars as opposed to similar bars with less protein and more sugar. At the time of this writing, the ingredient list and nutrition facts aren’t available in the Amazon description. For the peanut lover in you...
As a devoted peanut lover, I have to say these are yummy, crunchy and chewy at the same time. Main ingredient here is peanuts, which are held together and formed into a bar with the addition of soy protein, agave syrup, brown rice syrup, cashew butter, almond butter and a sunflower oil blend. The peanut bar is covered in semi-sweet chocolate. Nice chocolate too but be aware that it doesn't hold up well to heat (like my Florida summer) and can make for a messy eating experience in the outdoors. This isn't a super power bar or a meal substitute. It's, IMO, just a healthy alternative to snacking on a candy bar such as Snickers. There are 10 grams of protein here, mostly from the peanuts and somewhat from the soy, 16 g of fat, 90 mg of sodium (sea salt), 16 g carbs, dietary fiber 3 g, sugar 8 g. In other words, a tasty snack and it's 70% organic, non-GMO project verified, and each bar has 230 calories.Made in Markham, Ontario, Canada by Taste of Nature Foods, Inc. Only thing I don't know is what kind of a value they are. I received a free box of 12 bars to test and review and do not know the pricing. That information is not available at this moment at the product page either. If the price is not exorbitant I would not hesitate to recommend them to peanut lovers.

A tasty alternative to a candy bar... refreshingly lower in carbs and higher in fiber and protein
I didn't know what to expect with these bars as I have near heard of "Taste of Nature" and the name itself is a red alert for greenwashing -- protein bars that really are candy bars. When these arrived I looked at the ingredients carefully and noticed several kinds of sugar (agave syrup, sugar, brown rice syrup...) and thought "uh oh"... but the cars at 16g were a welcome relief (compared to other bars that have more than double that). Next was the taste test... satisfyingly crunchy, not overly sweet. A very nice snack. I plan to take this on my next hike. The box says "certified organic by Ecocert Canada" whoever they are, and the product is made in Canada.I'm sure there are healthier bars out there --- but this one walks the balance between healthy and tasty nicely and is a great bar for those who are trying to eat healthier.Ingredients: roasted peanuts, semi-sweet chocolate (unsweetened chocolate, sugar, cocoa butter, soy lecithin, natural vanilla extract), agave syrup, soy crisp (isolated soy protein, tapioca starch, salt), brown rice syrup, redskin peanuts, roasted soybeans, peanut flavor (why do they need this when peanuts is #1 on their ingredient list?!?), sunflower oil, cashew butter, almond butter, sea salt, agar.Hope this helps.
