Rough Ryder Whittler Issue X 2.
If your a collector you should know I just recieved my second Rough Rider Whittler knife having returned the previous one due to a large gap between the metal pieces in the back, only to get the exact same issue in the new knife I just received. I have reached out to the company and have yet to hear back. I have chosen to keep this one as returning it seems fruitless. I like the style and will just use it instead of collecting it.

I had to make aesthetic job on the scales.
This is a good pocket knife, well made. Only problem is that i had to finish the scales. They dont come like in the picture. The brownish color in reality is bright red, it looks like Elk blood on my knife. So i had to sand until the red color was almost gone. Also the bone marks look very fake and with that red color... worst. But with the sanding it looked way better. Some of the brass pins are not well fitted. and the 2 secondary blades are too thin. The walk and talk is fine, not extraordinary. The main blade is actually very nice, it has a nice design. All that considered and taking into account the price... I would order again if i lost it.

Cheap and good
Decent look, construction, and finish for the price anyway. The blades hold a nice edge, but dull quickly compared to more expensive tools. At this price point, still an excellent choice for a "disposable" knife I'm not afraid to break or lose.

I give up.
I’ve ordered a few RR knives and it’s been hit or miss QC. Blades sitting to low to even open, blade wobble, blades not centered. The exception seems to be the Classic Carbon series (I have two) which have had no defects or problems, but all others…..BEWARE.
