Purpose for this floor lamp was to provide a grow lamp for rubber plant. This works out well for my 3.5 ft plant. While it isn't the height for typical floor lamp, it does provide essential lighting for a grow lamp or a taller reading lamp. Easy to put together- less than 5 minutes. Very sturdy (heavy) round base that has a small footprint. Three sections to assemble the pole and the hooded lamp head. It is flexible and molds well to your desired position. As long as it has any E26 bulbs - LED, grow or (incandescent -under 40 watts) this lamp will work well with this size bulb.While the lamp says it's 58 inches tall, this does NOT mean that its height is 58 inches when the lamp head is bent. At best, you will get about 4 ft, give or take. This switch/cord is shorter than average. The on/off switch is easy to operate, however, it is in plain view and near the top of the lamp. The cord's length is hampered by this placement of the switch and will have a very short reach if trying to plug it in to low outlet that isn't close to the lamp. Best to have the lamp near outlet or a table that has an outlet built in. Even with the small issues, this floor lamp seems to work well as a grow lamp and is recommended.

Very easy to assemble and you can adjust the height . I bought it to use with a grow light bulb but the bulb is heavy and pulls the adjustable neck down so , with some readjusting, it’s working well now. I’m considering getting another because it’s non-obtrusive and fits with any decor and my bird of paradise is happier!

This is a nice floor style reading lamp for the money. It's nothing fancy but it is good quality, inexpensive, easy to assemble and it does the job. I like the fact that you can choose your own bulb--whatever type and color tone you prefer. My previous reading lamp had a built in LED light source that could not be changed. I thought the color tone was too cool and I wanted a warmer tone bulb. It is rated at 40W but I put in a 60W LED equivalent and it seems fine. The metal shade does not get hot at all. The one way to improve it would be to route the power cord though the body of the stand. Some people might not like the power cord and switch hanging down along the stand.

As others have said, this is a really good lamp at a good price. The problem with goose neck floor lamps is that they can be very un-stable and have a tendency to lean or flop over. This one is very stable and well made.

Trying to keep these alive and well during the winter. Got both stands in " bronze ". One is set up " tall ", (all 3 sections installed, 50" bulb to floor) and the other " medium " (2 sections installed, 37 " bulb to floor). Very simple to put together and sturdy. Got these 2 stands because of the color, height adjustment, rated wattage 11w) and NO built-in timer, yes, NO timer. I read timer ones work but you have to reset every day! These I have plugged into a regular " wall timer " for 10 hrs. a day, set it and forget it! Also, the Wattage, 11W, some others are less. I don't know if that makes a huge difference but, the Grow Light bulbs I'm using are rated 11W, so just made sense. Do Grow Light bulbs work? I don't know yet, that would be another review. The stands are doing their job, and look great, well, less the dangling wire, but that was the trade off for the color, wattage, less timer, and price that I did like. Good luck with yours!

I ordered the black one last month, and was so delighted with it that I got a sand black one a day ago. I have a couple of music stands that I use in different places, and this is the perfect light to shine on the sheet music. It is bright even with only a 40 watt bulb, and suits my need perfectly. This lamp is very portable, yet the base is heavy and sturdy, but not too much to lift and move it easily. I love that the switch is not mounted right over the lamp but on a cord extending from the lamp, so there's nothing hot to touch when switching off and on. It was extremely easy to assemble and arrived safely in very sturdy protective packaging. I highly recommend this, for similar uses for musicians especially. I may get another one to use over my drawing board. It's such a handy lamp! So useful when you need something that provides a sort of focused light without glare. I'm very happy with this little light of mine.

I don't go out of my way to write reviews. I don't have the time. But this product is so good that it's earned a shout-out. I'll keep this short and sweet and to the point. This is a SUBSTANTIAL floor lamp. The gooseneck is well made. There is nothing cheap about it. It is both solid and flexible. So, too, is the baseplate; it's heavy. And I like that the power cord is exterior to the base, which means the lamp lays flat on the floor. For the money, this is a steal. I tip my hat to both the designers and the manufacturers of the LePower Floor Lamp. You can buy this confidently. I expect to use this excellent product for a lifetime.

We straightened the entire lamp and measured from the floor to the tip top because I knew when I opened the box and took out the pieces that it would be shorter than advertised. We measured 58 inches tall total and it's supposed to be a little over 62 inches. I'm using this for my plants so I'll need to sit it on something but it's still a nice lamp....Decent price too. These are hard to find like this. I am ordering another one because I'm using these with grow lights for many house plants. I would prefer them to be the height they are advertised...

Great Gold Light. I put it behind my headboard to read at bedtime. Switch is at just the right height. Very sturdy base.Glad it is behind the bed as the top part of the lamp and the bottom of the lamp are a little bit off in colour. I would not be as happy with it if it was standing out in the open in my livingroom.The top and bottom of this lamp must be painted in different areas of the lamp factory.Still giving a 5 star as I hope they get their paints together.

I liked that the lamp was extremely easy to assemble. The switch is very conveniently placed. The lamp itself is sturdy yet sleek, and very adjustable. It is perfect for my needs. It doesn't take a lot of room either. It does NOT have a remote but that is fine with me. I didn't want one.

Buen precio, buena calidad, sólo se atornillan 3 tubos dependiendo de la altura que desees. Usa de los focos comunes que venden en el súper. La base es pesada así que no se columpia ni tambalea. Compraría otra si tuviera dónde ponerla.
