Actually an easy install for a 57 yo LOL
I own a 2012 Toyota Tundra 4x4 with stock suspension and have been pulling my boat, a Chaparral Signature 240 cruiser. Total wt. approx. 6500lbs with trailer included. I was experiencing considerable sag on the rear end of my tundra. So I decided to purchase the Timbren suspension kit and I installed it myself. Was not difficult at all. Actually an easy install for a 57 yo LOL! I did not remove the rear wheels or have to jack up vehicle. I sprayed WD-40 on the U-Bolts nuts to facilitate easy removal of the U-Bolt nuts. I then removed the nuts with a 1/2 inch drive breaker bar fairly easy. I then removed the U-Bolts and the old stock leaf spring bump stop from inside the wheel well looking over the tire. I then took the U-Bolts and used a wire brush and cleaned off dirt that had built up on the threads of the U-bolts and sprayed them with WD-40 to make the nut install easier. From the wheel well over looking the top of the rear tire (Just squeeze your head and arms in over the tire) I took the assembled Timbren bump stop and lined it up in position on the axel and positioned the U-bolts in correct spot. Then just crawled underneath the truck and tightened down the U-Bolt nuts to 70-75 foot pounds of torque. Then repeat the other side. So after the install I drove my Tundra around town , and there was no difference in ride with no load. So I connected my boat to the Tundra and there was absolutely no sag. I pulled my boat to have new tires put on the trailer and the ride was actually different. The pull felt more stable and more of a under control feeling. Over bumps I did not experience that bottoming out feel. A Far better ride than stock suspension. I'm really impressed with the TORTUNA4 Suspension System so far. Was an easy install and not as expensive as a fix as I thought it would be.Well worth time and money at this point.

Super easy install. Good, no squat, ride.
Shipped 2 days early, and delivered about 40 minutes before dinner time. Told my wife I’m going to go put them on, and got back in the house before dinner was ready. A can of PB Blaster, a number 19 wrench, and a rubber mallet was all I needed. I didn’t even jack up my 2015 Tundra, just slid under the back end of the truck, sprayed the nuts with pb blaster, applied the wrench, and used the rubber mallet to loosen the nuts. They came loose quickly. You don’t need to take off both u-bolts, just one side, loosen the other side, pop the rubber stops off, put these on, tighten, done. Even had time for a quick drive around the neighborhood, and saw no discernible difference in ride quality. I can’t wait to go tow my rig with these....Update: Pulled my trailer no problem, ride was fine, no squat, no problems. Didn’t use my load leveler, probably won’t anymore. I hated using that thing. Just hook up and go from now on.

Easy peezy
Well they were remarkably easy to install by myself and I'm 74 this month. Well if you've got the tools I should say.Made a big difference. In this case they stopped my old Tundra from squatting with our newer heavier trailer.

Product was okay, but it wasn't a new item as described by the seller: JIR AUTO Track
I think the Timbren SES bump stops will work fine. It was an easy install on my Tundra.I just wish the seller I bought it from had been honest and marked it as a used product, and sold it at a used item price, like they should have. It was listed and sold to me as a New item, but it clearly had been on a vehicle before I got it. It didn't appear to have much use on it. However, you can see the rust, dirt, and abrasion scratches in the paint/metal and on the rubber bumpstops. As well as there was a bit of sandy dirt in the box they came in as well. Which appeared to have come out of the rubber bump stops and the metal base that had the rust and dirt inside of it. The pictures I submitted are what it looked like when I opened the box.I didn't want to deal with sending them back and trying again, since they looked okay enough they should be okay. So I decided to just kept them.Just be cautious when buying these, as you might get sold a set of used ones, even though what you bought was listed as a new item. Some sellers aren't honest and send you used products. The seller I got this from was: JIR AUTO Track.

Works as advertised and easy to install
These rubber bump stops/helper springs are dirt simple and easy to install on my 2018 Tacoma. It took me about 1/2 hour from start to finish, using a floor jack to raise each rear wheel enough to improve access but not lift the tire off the ground. I loosened the spring pack u bolts enough to remove the stock bump stops and slip these in. Easy.In use, these keep the bed from sagging as much under load. They do “bounce” a bit on speed bumps and such, but nothing too bad. I haven’t taken them on any gnarly rocky off road trails yet, but they don’t seem to make a difference in the milder stuff so far (which is a good thing).Anyway, so far the Timbrens are a nice affordable suspension upgrade for the occasional heavy load or towing session.

I had these installed on my 2007 Toyota Tacoma and they worked fantastic! I had some suspension sag (within limits) with a load of pellets that weighed 1000lbs! Not what I would recommend for a Toyota Tacoma, however, you will experience minimal body roll, an improved ride with any type of medium to heavy load like fire wood, motorcycles, and beyond. Of note; you will have the same ride comfort level you have now with no load as the "Timbrens" do not come into play... only when the truck is loaded! I just purchased these for my new Toyota Tundra which I feel should come standard with these along with some sort of extra leaf springs in rear. As I use my truck for heavy loads, pulling a trailer, and beyond. The Timbrens are a bargain compared to more expensive air bags without the headaches related to maintenance, and other issues. The Timbrens are easy to install and are an item once installed you do not have to worry about them... thus I would highly recommend this product if you own a Toyota "Taco" or especially a Tundra truck.

Great for towing
I was a bit fearful when buying, thinking this would make my Tacoma too firm for city driving.Installing these were very simple, and there is a1 inch gap between the truck bed and the top of the Timbren, the gap allows the truck to drive normally... Not any different than usual, then hooking up the trailer, the Timbrens leveled out the dash I had previously!Amazing investment!!

Good product does the job
Decided to go a different route other than the timbren’s, but the return policy was terrible. No guarantee I will get my money back from seller.
