Easy to assemble and good value for your money
Assembling this bunk bed was a breeze. It offers a good bang for your buck and arrived impeccably packaged. Contrary to some experiences, I found the instructions straightforward and my set had no damaged parts. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase it again if I needed another bunk bed or suggest it to others looking for good quality and affordability in a bed. A word to the wise: using power tools streamlines the assembly process significantly.

Great value and straightforward assembly.
We wanted to convert the gym in our home to a children's bedroom for when our grandchildren visit (ages 3 and 5). We wanted a bunk bed that would allow us to maximize the floor space for the kids, but also wanted something larger than a twin in the event we had a houseful of company and needed to put adults in there. We looked at the local stores but didn't find anything we liked, and everything we saw was $500 and up plus delivery and set up...so I did some web surfing and found this bed walmart.com. It fit our needs, looked okay, and the price was certainly good. But if you have dealt with a WalMart store in recent years, you know how difficult they have become when it comes to returns or issues with a purchase. So I went to Amazon (my preferred online shopping source) and found the same item for essentially the same price. Done deal. I also bought two memory foam mattresses and the total delivered price was less than just the beds we saw locally.Delivery was earlier than expected and UPS and even brought the (heavy) box inside. All the parts were there and my wife re-labeled everything for ease of set up. Instructions were good with adequate detiail, and the hardware was all numbered and blister packed, so the assembly went like clock work. I have a tip for you handymen. Toss the free Allen wrench they supplied, look in your security bit assortment and use your screw gun or drill (my bits are from a Harbor Freight set I bought for under $10 and I have used it a lot). You will save yourself hours and the finished product will be more secure. The total time from opening the box to finished product was under 6 hours. I am more confident in the bed and my own assembly than if a delivery crew did a rush job for a bed that my grandchildren will sleep on.

Reasonable price for benefit of bunks
Relatively easy to assemble. Didn't take longer than 3-4 hours... With a toddler forcing breaks upon us!Pay attention to:1. Top headboard pieces for the full bed so that the peg holes are aligned on the same side so the twin can be placed in on top. We forgot to and had to untighten one side to flip. Not serious but a nuisance.2. Side frames of the beds where the bed rests on. Make sure the twin has the same slotted ones bc there are pre-drilled holes for a cross panel with small wood pegs to be inserted in the center.Recommend using a power drill then hand tighten screws for the last bit to secure the base planks for mattresses to sit on. Speeds things up significantly.Overall for the price, the lower quality wood material is to be expected. Noticed some cracks in some pieces of wood as mentioned by others. When I was peeling off a sticker label, I indented the wood with my own finger...🤔 Overall, it feels sturdy for a toddler. Both parents on separate occasions (200lbs &150lbs) have climbed up to read stories. Probably won't do this all the time tho. We don't anticipate him jumping on top bunk bc his head is close to ceiling when standing and don't recommend it based on the slats. He's 40lbs. Overall height is good, not too tall and daunting for a 4yr old to climb and mom(5'3) can reach top bunk from floor. We purchased a 5 inch twin mattress; it allows for good vertical space for him not to roll off the sides. Our son moves all over when sleeping! We got the white which looks clean and less cluttered in the room.He loves it and it allows for more space in the room especially if family can come visit.

Great looking and seems sturdy but broken and missing pieces
We bought this for our sons Christmas present so we had to assemble it Christmas Eve while he was with his Memaw and Papa in order to surprise him. I was irritated after unboxing it to find that key pieces were broken and hardware missing. Not something you really want to come across when you are trying to surprise a child and have time restraints. The top of the headboard and footboard for the lower bunk was assembled (that’s how it comes it appears) which isn’t wise considering the wooden dowels were broken off on both the headboard and footboard units, there was a huge chunk missing out of the foot board and around some of the holes were cut poorly. We had to drill out the broken dowels and go buy new dowels, then not all the hardware was there, so luckily we do a lot of building and home improvements so we had some extras on hand. Where a chunk was missing on the footboard is where a dowel is to be for stability and sturdiness so we had to fix that as well. I was definitely disappointed in the quality control of this. I didn’t rate it lower because we were able to fix most of it ourselvesand had pieces not been broken off it would have been an easy assembly. It did take us about 3 1/2 hours from start to finish due to the repairs we had to make. What matters most is that our son loves it and I think overall it’s a good product for the price point. Just be aware that there may be broken pieces and/or missing hardware that you may need to account for.

Overall very good quality!
i purchased these to use as bunk beds but oncei got them built they fit in the room nicely on their own. they are VERY sturdy wooden beds and i am super happy with the quality. It was kind of a pain in the butt to build and i highly recommend using the drill with the allen wrench attachment because building this whole thing with just the allen wrench it came with will kill your fingers. Eventually i will stack the twin on top of the full and use it as a Bunk Bed but i like the way it looks like this right now. Tip: pay attention to the treading on the screw pictures. i built the entire first bed with the wrong long screws and had to take the whole thing apart.

Great bunk bed
Great bunk bed for smaller rooms that have no space for ladders on the side -- -I ordered 2 of these for 2 cottages -- they look great when assembled

Great bed
This bed arrived quickly and was packaged well. Most of it went together well except for all the bottom bolts on the bed rails, the holes for the lock nuts were not deep enough to catch the bolt so we had to tap them further into the frame so the bolt would catch, sounds easy enough but one actually had to go so far that the lock nut protruded through the piece of frame so that the bolt could catch and a small piece of the frame broke off. Small enough to not disassemble and send back but bothersome enough to note. The rest of the bed went together well and quickly and seems sturdy enough fully assembled. The blue colour is very nice and overall, my son is ecstatic with his new bunk bed.

Wonderful Products
The beds are strong and easy to install. Keep in mind that the bed takes a lot of space in the room so plan accordingly. The space between the two beds is narrow in height.

The colour is not Espresso - it is more red, like Mahogany.
The assembly of the bunk bed was pretty easy and we had it together in about 2+ hours. A drill was very helpful in the process. The materials used to construct the bed seem to be fairly decent and sturdy. The negative things about the bed so far is that it nicks VERY easily. The slightest bump with anything leaves a dent and and takes the finish off, even something as small as a button on a shirt, or ring on a finger. I’ve purchased stain pens to cover marks and they work well so far, but dents are still visible. One thing that really bothers me is that the bed is not espresso, which is typically a dark brown stain. It is very red in hue, very similar to mahogany. All the wooden furniture in my sons room is varying brown colours, and the red really clashes, so please note when ordering if you care about that sort of thing.
