Treading Water (Vet Volunteers)

Much like the previous books in this series, it did not disappoint! My daughter is always looking forward to the next one.

This review by my 8 year old aspiring veterinarian who loves this series and loved this book: "When Brenna finds abandoned ducklings, she wants to help them. But these ducklings were separated from their mother too soon and they don't even know how to swim! Can Brenna and the rest of the vet volunteeers (Josh Juelles, Zoe, David and Maggie) help them? It was a great book and it taught me a lot about animal abuse."

This series is one my granddaughter loves.

What you need to know about this disc is that it's written by an American and read by an American. I have no problem with this but my 8-year old does. She finds the language difficult to understand and the American accent very irritating and this despite having an American cousin. She has persevered and enjoys the story but I would be wary of buying any disc now without checking the background of the author and narrator.
