Alternate uses ,other than intended
Works fine for the purpose I bought it for . Which is to run a weapons light off an ultimak gas tube rail . as described well made!

I can not get this to tighten up on any of my rails. I am not sure what to do with it but i would recommend you not purchase this unless you want to shim it to make it fit tight.

Low profile, Low cost but low on quality.
They are small and low profile however the rail section for mounnting accessories is not to the spec profile. None of my stsndard attachments fit tightly without shims. Considering this little device is only designed to do one thing you would think that one thing could be done well.

Great mount BUT...............
This mount is very good and perfect for mounting red dot or iron sights that are out of the way from your scope. That way you can transition from long distance shots at 1000 yards plus then turn the rifle over for any distance under that. The one downfall is you gotta buy 2 if you want them for iron sights and also the rail is not as thick as it should be. But its literally off by like 1mm if that all i had to do was stick a piece of electrical tape on the 4 squares of the rail and boom good as new. i personally used mine for my MAGPUL MBUS flip up iron sights. so i can use both my vortex viper and in the blink of an eye switch over to my iron sights. Its really nice to have the options. I would strongly recommend them to my friends family and all of you guys too.

Lowest profile offset mount I could find
Great. These were the lowest profile angled mount I could find. Most others don't have the bottom edge along the low edge of the clamp.
