Initial review
Good looking watch. Good condition. Fully wound it runs about 40hrs (not bring worn). Do not a bad reserve.

Save your money. Seriously.
An attractive watch with classic styling, nice weight and feel in hand, and comfortable on wrist. I was initially pleased with the watch, pleasantly surprised that a $16 automatic watch could seemingly be so good.Within 24 hours of wear I noticed the watch had stopped so I wound it again by hand and made sure to deliberately shake my wrist periodically throughout the day to keep it wound. It stopped again two more times in as many days leading me to conclude the internal counterweight wasn't rotating and, therefore, couldn't provide the kinetic energy necessary to keep the watch functioning.Rather than return the watch through Amazon I contacted the seller for support as the paperwork accompanying the watch requested. Customer support (via email) was prompt, courteous, and helpful. With apologies they offered to send me a new watch and did not ask for return of the original. Unfortunately the new watch was Dead On Arrival. It didn't work at all.One might be tempted to say, "you get what you pay for", or, "what did you expect from a $16 Chinese made watch?" Well, I figure even a $16 Chinese made watch should adequately perform its most basic function: accurately telling time. I don't expect the same accuracy, build quality or longevity I would from a Rolex...or even a Seiko...but, c'mon. Also disappointing is that no one seemed to have even bothered to check to see that the replacement watch worked properly before shipping it out.I was prepared to write a positive review of the replacement watch but obviously that isn't possible now. So my recommendation is to save a little more and buy a little better. If you want a recommendation for a reliable good-looking automatic with sapphire crystal, steel case, and a proven, reliable movement (Seiko 8215 movement) consider the Starking model AM0171. It's about $60.Update: I just returned the non-working $16 watch through UPS. I was told the box in which I packaged my return had to be in a $2.99 Tyvek envelope as per Amazon. Can't wait for my $13 refund. Lesson learned.

I love the looks, but is it too good to be true? Detailed mesurements...
A good looking automatic dress watch for under $20, is this real or too good to be true?I rarely have a need to wear formal dress watches, but I've been looking for a vintage looking dressy automatic. I wanted to have arabic numerals written in cursive like the one on this watch face. I absolutely love how simple and elegant this watch looks. The hour, minute and seconds hands are blue. I love slightly convex crystal on the watch face resembling vintage watches. This watch should be a reference to all dress watches. So, unfortunately because the price is less than $20 the movement and some details are not good quality. I would pay $200 or more for this watch if it were higher quality: So let's get to the details.First of all, the strap is trash, they shouldn't even waste money on the strap and they should sell the watch without a strap and improve quality of the movement. I replaced the strap with a fossil brand and it costs twice as much as what I pad for the watch. This watch is large for a dress watch but despite the larger size, it feels very comfortable and does not feel large at all. Ideally a dress watch case diameter would be 39-40 mm and case thickness would be at 10mm or less. This watch measures 41.5mm case diameter, watch thickness is a whopping 14.8mm (including the slight convex crystal). Lug to lug is 47mm.The watch mechanical movement is marginal, this is where it shows it's sub par quality. I belive it has some sort of cheap Chinese movement.Pulling the crown out is difficult and when pushing back in the minute hand jumps, because of this you can't set the time precisely. The seconds hand keeps moving when setting the time and is typical for this type of cheap movement. Pushing the crown back in is even harder. The flywheel doesn't move freely, as the watch is fully wound the flywheel gets harder to turn. I suspect the automatic winding doesn't function properly. I end up winding the watch manually. Also the flywheel has smudge marks, maybe the person assembling the watch did not wash his hands after eating his lunch?I wish it had a Seiko NH35 movement then I would gladly pay allot more for this watch. When you spend couple hundred dollars you can find dozens of reliable and quality watches (Seiko, Citizen, Casio, Bulova, Orient). But at this price, you can't even find a toy watch in a cracker jack box.Despite all it's flaws (poor movement, larger case, cheap strap), this watch has a soul. It looks beautiful and even the cheap movement adds a gritty character to the watch. I'm still amazed how they were able to make such a beautiful looking watch at such a low price. In the end I'm going to buy another one just in case it gets discontinued.BTW: if anyone knows of a better quality watch within couple hundred dollars that looks exactly same please add to comments and let me know. I'm not looking to pay PATEK PHILIPPE kind of prices.

Great value
This watch is simple, solid in construction. Fit and finish are reat for the price point. This watch is very intuitive to use. I do not think I could find a better watch at this price! The date can be set by the center position of the crown! Turn the watch clockwise and wiggle it a little, it will eventually start moving the date. The wrist band is comfortable. I am not sure how long the band will last however I plan on changing it soon.
